Not bad. Pundits seem to think that at pick 30 we'll be taking the best player available route. If Harvin is still there that's cool with me.

Why would the Jags take Orakpo? Wouldn't that be saying their 08 draft was complete bust? Didn't they take two first round DE's last year? Groves and Harvey?

Well actually it would just prove me right when I say .......... :jagsbite:

If we can get one of the top corners and a WR I am all for it. Wish we could get Hood somehow though.

why would the jags take a defensive end at #8 when they did that last year and then took another in the second round?

Why the jags may take another DE..

    1. Paul spicer is gone to the saints

    2. Starting DE reggie hayward will be gone after this season free agent.

    3. May be moving groves to OLB.

    4. Have confirmed they will use some 3-4 this year.

Of course there are so many problems with them using a 3-4. Henderson would have to be an end not a NT he is just too tall to be a NT. Jimmy kennedy is a potential NT but he is listed 3rd string on their depth chart and one of their other backup DT is 6'7.

Harvey might not be physical enough to be a 3-4 end.

Great blue north has them taking raji with the 8th pick which would make perfect sense in that scenario.

What i like about the mock for us? All SEC and big 10 guys.

Problem is that is not how MR does things. They like to grab athletic guys from smaller schools. They might take a guy with our 3rd or 4th pick that we totally don't expect. Like jason jones in rd 2 or hayes who we traded up for in rd 4.

Chris baker the big DT out of hampton and gilbert are examples of those types of players.

This mock for us is too good to be true. just like the others in previous years.
i just really really hope that it can turn out to be true, or at least the same aspects of it.

as long as round 1 has a WR label in front of it, i don't care who it is, i just want a WR so we can finally get pass this talk that we never draft a WR in the first.
only 1 exception, no Mike Williams though.

Moore would be great value in the second regardless if you like him or not don't see im dropping that far though but possibly Mickens or Macho are there would be good fits at CB if we don't take any round 1.

I wouldn't hate the Harvin pick does his durability scare me a little....yes but so did Adrian Peterson's but I don't think you here the Vikings complaining. Him and CJ on the same side of the ball is a nightmare for any defense, it gives us so many options and Dinger is clever enough to draw up some plays. He ran very sharp routes at his pro day so take that for what its worth.

G in the third uhhh not crazy about and Taylor is boom or bust but is a big run stuffer when motivated.

I'm not buying any of these mock drafts because we know in the end the Titans will pick people we probably have never heard of and then they will turn into significant pieces to the puzzle like CJ and Jones. I like the mock draft in this version but I know better.

I would love that draft. Harvin will be a playmaker in the NFL. He is already a very good return man can play in the backfield and may become a good WR thats value.

  10. No. 30: Receiver Hakkeem Nicks
No. 62: Cornerback D.J. Moore, Vanderbilt
No. 94: Linebacker Marcus Freeman, Ohio State
No. 130: Guard Louis Vasquez, Texas Tech
No. 135: Defensive tackle Terrance Taylor, Michigan

    that would make me happy
