vince's future

I really, really want to post the Implied Facepalm, but it contains big time potty mouth words.

 

This is all Mack Brown's fault, he couldn't reign Vince in at all in Texas/Vince couldn't learn the simplified playbook that Mack used in Texas, that's why he decided to let him loose & let Vince use his athletic ability, and low and behold, he was the best athlete in College, but you can't do that in the Pros (run at will/spread offense/one read offense), when you can't hit your targets consistently enough through the air ... too much athleticism on the other side of the ball and that turned out to be the case in Vince's second year 9 TDs - 17 INTs and then the ultimate meltdown in the Jacksonville game to start the season ... its time to rid ourselves of this ego maniac. Maybe, just maybe Mack should have moved him to Free Safety

So Mack Brown couldn't reign Vince in and that's the source of all following calamities: Davey O'Brien Award, Maxwell Award, Two-Time Rose Bowl MVP, National Champtionship, 3rd Pick Over-all in the Draft, Rookie of the Year Award....Titan's decide they know better and proceed to turn that guy into a 9-17 2nd year mechanical mess who ends up on the bench in year three. Hmmm, seems to me Jeff Fisher has some 'splainin to do.

 

Whilst I agree with what you are saying, there isn't really a point in cutting him now he is only going to make 2.5mill this year I think so with the small chance that he could become a starter there isn't much risk in keeping him. Cardinals are doing the same with Leinart as far as I know. If he hasnt showed what he can do by next year I dont think there is a point in even restructuring his contract tbh. At lewast Alex Smith can throw a decent pass without it being intercepted whereas I get a small fright every time Vince throws because lets face it he a lean mean INT throwing machine. He is schleduled to earn over $7million in 2010 according to Kulharsky I think.

 

Yea, I wasn't talking about cutting him right now. He won't be with our team after this season... hopefully.
