Insert foot in mouth right about..........
    Now
He only did that against a Super Bowl champion defense...
You know what your right Chris Johnson really does suck, let's just in our minds take away all of his big runs, cause those don't really matter. Actually why don't we take away anything over 5 yards? Then he will suck even more, and maybe you can sleep at night.

I think the run game is fine. Personally I think Lendale is gonna have a better year and CJ will have another year like last season. And with Ringer looking decent so far I say our run game will be improved from last season.

The thing about the run game is you usually have to be patient with it... you'll get stuffed and keep at it and then it starts to break open. But in preseason when you have 6 carries it isn't enough to really get much working.

I mean, stats-wise they all carried 6 times and Chris Henry had the best numbers. That should say all you need to know.

I'm just hoping CJ can aviod that soph slump that we always hear so much about. I'm also looking forward to seeing what Ringer can do in the pros. I believe LW will play a bigger role this year having gotten himself into better shape as well. Week 1 of preseason is no where near anytime to start worrying about the run game, that's what preseason is for...to get this stuff sorted out in the first place.

There is a difference between being tactfully honest and explaining something factually, and just incessantly complaining and whining about a player to the point no one wants to hear about it anymore...more or less just like no one wants to hear your rant about CJ. Why? Because in case you didn't realize it, NO ONE else here agrees with you concerning CJ.
And concerning VY, everyone has already had to listen to the naysayers whine and gripe about the same crap over and over, as if they are the first ones to divulge that information to the world.

Uh. 1 run proved your point? lol

No one said he sucks. I said he sucks at breaking tackles. (true) I said he sucks at making people miss. (true) I said he's only going to get good yards if there's a big hole for him to use his speed. (true) He sucks at catching also.

Even with all that, he's still a great back due to what he CAN do. He's not a complete back, but he's still great due to his big play potential every touch. All backs have strengths and weaknesses- and the ones that are solid all around usually aren't as good as those that have certain strengths.

CJ is fast. That's what his strength is. When he can't use that, he'll struggle but when the line gives him a chance to- it's huge.

Don't be so bum hurt about analysis.

No one else agrees with me that CJ gets tackled extremely easily?

Really? I know we've got tons of homers here like yourself that see no flaw in any player in a Titans jersey, but not all of them are unable to give a fair opinion on our guys.

What planet are you living on? By your post you still seem reluctant (or were at one point) to criticize Vince also. How surprising...

I am sorry Deuce but your "analysis" is just plain dumb.. all those "(true)" statements you had were all rediculous.. do you even watch Titans Games?.. do you?.. I have seen him break more tackles and make more players miss in the ONE year he has been playing..

I know this might hurt but... are you even a Titans Fan?.. I have seen you Diss M. Griffin, CJ, and a few other of our players and its not even that I am calling you a hater I honestly am thinking that you just LOVE to find things wrong with our players and SHOW them to the world... Trust me I am just as dissapointed as you are with the way last season ended up but there is no reason to diss the players that got us to that playoff game regardless.. Just think before you Post please.. it will save us all the frustration of having to read it.

Saying CJ gets tackled extremely easily when an opposing D line is in the backfield shortly after he gets handed the ball is a far cry from calling him worthless after one preseason game.
Plus, I've noticed that quite a few teams have been seemingly purposely trying to tackle CJ at the legs/feet, because they know he is almost impossible to tackle up high.

Calling CJ a bust after one preseason game is not anywhere close to giving a fair opinion of him.

Giving Vince the benefit of the doubt when an NFL head coach and offensive coordinator are as well is a far cry from being reluctant to criticize him.
Vince faltered big time and needs a lot of improvement. But unlike the haters who give up on him and say he sucks, I'm not ready to just yet. Dinger wanted two seasons to work with him starting at the beginning of last season. Which means this is season 2. If he hasn't improved by then, then I will concede there is no hope for him as a Titan.

Forgive me for trusting an NFL HC and OC's opinion over all yall's.
