Titans End Preseason with 27-13 Win Over Packers

    SUMMARY: The Tennessee Titans ended the preseason on a positive with a 27-13 win over the Green Bay Packers Thursday night. "I think we’re happy with where we are," C Kevin Mawae said. "We’re ready to kick things off and get ready for the regular season." The backups played the bulk of the game as Vince Young was the team's leading passer with 85 yards and a TD. Young also gained another 38 yards on the ground and another TD. Chris Henry was the Titans top rusher with 54 yards on 19 carries. Dominique Edison had 90 receiving yards and two TDs. "At this point," S Chris Hope said, "we’re looking forward to getting a game plan and preparing for Pittsburgh." The Titans open the NFL regular season next Thursday night against the Steelers.

    Nice performace by Young. Should have a solid grasp on #2 now....

    I think it speaks volumes about our starting defense that they forced the first team GB offense to punt for the first time this preseason. Also, it appears the Titans have more depth at more positions than they've had for a long time, particularly WR.
