Yes everyone makes mistakes, however those quarterbacks lead their teams to victories collins doesn't, he doesnt like being called a game manager but thats exactly what he is. Our D is poor this year we need a playmaker not a manager to get us over it. Collins throws it away anytime he gets a little pressure, he's not mobile thats fine its not his game. Young can move around and can make those teams that blitz us pay for it more then Collins can. Young can hold on to the damn ball running up the middle. Young can buy that extra time to make a play whether it be him finding a receiver or doing it with his legs. We stand no chance if all teams have to do is put a little pressure on us late in the game and our manager will just throw it away.

I really want to see Vince if New york does what I think they might next week. I hate to say it and hope im wrong but Kerry could have a very bad day against the jets. And if Collins starts to take some chances and take a hit once in awhile, I'll be the 1st to admit I jumped the gun a little quick on Young.

It's too early to say we need Vince out there... way too early. What we need are more corners, more linebackers (we should have signed a veteran all star like Bart Scott), and someone who can actually return kicks/punts. We should have signed Chris McAlister and knocked Harper down to #3 (if not just cut him) just like I had said in the offense.

Isn't Justin Miller still a free agent???

We need to start addressing some of our major weaknesses. QB isn't one of them. If our defense had been able to contain the pass in either game, we'd be 2-0 and everyone would be talking about how great Collins looked. Instead, they're b*tching and moaning about Collins' play because they assume the QB is always to blame.

The game was in Kerry's hands at the end and he sealed the loss for us. Also the interception he threw was awful and very costly. So with that Kerry had a huge part in the loss. He isn't very mobile either. When he tried to run Sunday he ran like he had big heavy chains attached to his legs or something.

I'm not saying Vince is any better but Kerry is very average

Kerry is average. I think most Titans fans will admit that. He has had contributions in our losses, but the blame shouldn't lie on him. The blame should lie directly on the defense. They've given up nearly 400 yards of offense per game.

An average QB is all we need... well, right now it seems like we need Drew Brees badly, but we've built our team around running the football and defense which only requires an average, game managing QB. If we can't get the defense corrected, then we will go 5-11 and end up drafting a QB in the first round.

Kerry is serviceable, but it's a QB league. It's no coincidence we haven't won a playoff game since McNair was behind center. It's a QUAR-TER-BACK league

This year is no different from last year... it's just that last year we got a lot of lucky breaks and this year we are a small handful of plays away from being 2-0. Who knows, once it gets turned around and come December week 15 is a must win to qualify for post season our team will play best when it matters the most instead of flaking like a buttermilk biscuit. It's entertainment people... go to the stadium, enjoy yourself, yell... get the agression out of your system but damn, don't lose perspective. I'd rather be a 10-6 wild card #6 seed and make it to the Super Bowl than be a #1 seed overall, sit on my laurels during the bye and mail it in in the divisional round...

    in short... get a grip!

I believe how the D looks in this Jets game will serve as a fair indicator of the rest of the season. If we continue to lack pressure and make mental errors in coverage in this game, then it is very unlikely to get fixed in time to preserve playoff hopes.

I agree that it is too early for such dramatic biatching that is occuring from fans, but the quallity of play we have seen in our D and special teams suggests there are problems that can't be fixed in time to get to 3-3.

Agree whole-heartedly but our D wasn't making mistakes and lacking pressure on this scale last year.

the more i think about it the more i almost solely put the L on the safeties. Harper was terrible, but he was also mano y mano against the best in the NFL.

Griffin and Hope just left him out to dry.

I think this is what the franchise has tried to build on but clearly the team is no longer built on defense and the run game. This is evident by collins throwing the ball 30+ times in each game. The telling stat this year is we are getting slaughtered in T.O.P. The Titans trademark for as long as I can remember is controlling the football and we are not getting it done this year. I'm a believer in vince and think he is the future of the franchise but I'm not calling for collins' head yet. I think it just frustrates people that he already has 3 turnovers in 2 games. I know this is average for most qbs, but vince threw 17 interceptions two years ago and people acted as though he threw 30.
