My opinion is.....Jets are going down!!

    Longtime reader, first time poster, cannot hold my thoughts any longer. Here is what I have read:

    1. Fire Jeff Fisher.
    My response: You want to fire a guy who has proven he can turn things around (2002 anyone??)??

    2. Bench Kerry Collins.
    My response: You want to bench the guy that took us to 13-3 last year? Think about how bad we lose the Steelers game with Vince Young, it would have been ugly.

    3. The season is over.
    My response: Are you crazy? We beat the Jets and Jags and we will likely be tied for 1st in the division.

    4. Fire Chuck Cecil.
    My response: Give the guy a chance, you dont know how you are going to play w/o Albert Haynesworth until you actually do. You dont know what adjustments will be made over the next couple of weeks, until this continues you have to give the guy a chance to adjust.

    5. We only have one offensive weapon.
    My response: We have the most explosive player in the game, of course he is going to be the focus of the offense. Some of you will never be happy...

    10-0 start did us no good last year, it doesnt matter who is peaking now (Jets, SF), it matters who peaks in the end. Jets are the flavor of the week, after we win next week they will be calling us the best 1-2 team in the league, means nothing now, it is a very long season.

    CJ owes fat boy Rex Ryan one, now is the time to call in that marker.

    GET BEHIND YOUR TEAM, WE ARE GOING TO DO IT...

    The Jets are going to crash and burn with a Titan flame....

    O.K. kind of lame, but I think you're right, I think we go into N.Y. and bring that team down a tad and I think the Titans come off their attitude that they can beat anybody by just showing up

    It was actually 2002, but good post man.

    The Jets are legit and Cecil may be sucking, but I'll bet he has the balls to blitz rookie QBs. :)

    Started 1 - 4, Bud Adams was questioning Fisher's coaching, we finished 11 - 5 and made the AFC Championship game.

    Pretty strong for a first post.

    I just noticed that Collins' passer rating after these first two games is higher than his average for last season. As a matter of fact, it's tied with the highest of his career which was 2002 with the Giants.

    His completion percentage is the highest of his career so far.

    He's on pace to pass for nearly 3,700 yards, 24 TDs and 16 INTs.

    That INT pace needs to obviously decline and he needs to play better late in games but it's hard to complain about anything else. Washington should only get stronger. Britt and Cook will gain experience. And Scaife should get back soon.
