Seen This Yet? (Controversial McNair Display)

Wow. King's Island just lost my business.

 

Flat out despicable. I heard they've already said they are taking the McNair display down. Not sure about the other celebrities. What the heck is wrong with people?

 

I'm not that bothered by this, but I know I'm a very relaxed person. I can understand why some may find this story offensive. I don't like the idea that they're making fun of the McNair tragedy, but it is creative. Still though, I'm no fan of this.

 

Don't get me wrong, I thought the Steve McNair display was in terrible taste and they claimed that it was never shown.

At first, I thought, okay, I understand its 2009, and it's probably a buncha punk kids that had these skeletons and spraypainted a number 9 on it and put the skeleton in lingerie in his lap. I'm sure they thought it would be funny or whatever.

However, it dawned on me. The fact that someone within the Kings Island company purchased a Tennessee Titans helmet for this display is what is the most discouraging thing about this display. The fact that they bought a helmet using their company money, means that this display was going to go up unless someone said something about it.

Where do you get a Tennessee Titans helmet in Cinci? I live in louisville and I have never seen anything but bengals and colts gear here. No way they would have titans gear just at any store up there. This was planned, and malicious.

Not just McNair... but profiting off of high profile tragedies just proves that your decision makers are all scumbags.

 

Disgusting. Simple as that.

I was at King's Island just a month ago and was planning to go back within the next couple weeks. Not anymore.
