Where on Earth is Jared Cook?

    Supposedly this guy caught everything that was thrown even near him during camp and he looked very solid during the pre-season. Bo Scaife goes down to injury, Collins is struggling with his accuracy and yet we still haven't see anything from Cook. He has a total of 0 catches so far and I think he was targeted only once in the Jets game. How is this possible?

    What is the local media saying about this guy and why the coaching staff isn't using him? Please tell me we don't have another Ben Troupe (read: moron) on our hands.

    Also, how much of Collins' struggles can be attributed to no Scaife? Is he really that important? The team obviously had no second thoughts about using the franchise tag on him.

    yeah same here...Crump has been doing a nice job though

    been givin him a hard time since the 1 yard line fumble against Baltimore but hes makin nice catches and his YAC is improving...Cook needs to get involved more once hes healthy

    bad coaching, he's been on the field, but not being utilized against a Safety or LB. Disappointed in Dinger.

    he's been on the field for like three offensive plays and the ball has gone to him every time.

    hes still dealing with an ankle and that can be really tough on a TE...having to block then run routes....puts alot of strain on it....even with tape and spat its still tough.....when he gets to 100% he will be used alot more.

    (on if Jared Cook’s lack of playing time is a result of his ankle bothering him)

    Fisher: I’m hopeful that he’ll be 100 percent this week but a lot of that is that he’s still struggling with it. We felt like if we needed to turn to him then we would, but we didn’t. We want to get him involved in our game plan, but a lot has to do with how he responds this week.

    Cook isn't 100% yet. When the offense gets Scaife and Cook back at full force, it'll do wonders.
