Last years offense thru 3 games. 947 yards
This years offense thru 3 games. 1055 yards... against better defenses.

Last years defense thru 3 games. 721 yards against
This years defense thru 3 games. 1006 yards against...Basically a 4th game worth of defense.

Regardless of whether Collins or Young is at QB The strongest side of the ball better be defense or the Titans aren't going to win more than 8 games.

These are the reasons we are not winning.
    1. We are -3 in turnover ratio compared to +7 in 2008.
    2. Defense, Defense, Defense.
    3. Special teams (Return Teams)

Finally, Collins and the Titans offense need to get better in the 4th quarter. Our O line is one of the leagues best at blitz protection but it seems to fail a lot late in the 4th quarter. Lots of teams like to audible and change guys to hot routes but the Titans more than not trust their protection and Dinger needs to figure out if that's what is gonna work with Kerry's limited mobility. Too bad the Titans are always the leagues worst screen pass capable team .

On paper I can see why Young's backers would think he'd be ideal against those late blitzes but running is a last resort with any team. First option is to get the blitz blocked, 2nd is to get rid of the ball on a hot route and 3rd would be to get flushed and run. Who would I like in the game when its the final drive? Vince young. Who would I like QBing in quarters 1-3? KCollins.

I really feel Collins is the right guy and the head coach does too.

He's not the problem, but he's definitely not doing anything to help.

granted- maybe if receivers caught a few perfect passes the other day, that may change the way things seem.

The parts in bold are the one things that I have problems with.

    1. You want to know the reason we are -3 in turnover differental... Kerry 'Fricken' Collins (KFC get it?). He's done what threw four picks and lost a fumble that five turnovers right there. More then any other player on the team. The point of KFC was that he didn't make dumb mistakes with the ball. Well he is doing exactly that.

    2. You can only expect so much from the O-line to hold up so much when we are getting blitzed by 7 - 8 men. And do you know why we are getting blized so heavly... KERRY 'FRICKEN' COLLINS and our OC. If you put anything in his face a wimps down and throws it away. Now its not totally his fault because we have so far haven't even tried to screen pass to CJ on a blitz. Either way though, the only way to stop a team from blitzing is to beat the blitz. Make them pay for blitzing and it looks like Kerry can't do that.

I'm not one of those anti- Kerry /pro-Vince people but don't defend someone using situations he helped create.

Yea we have more offensive yards, but the problem is we seem to have 3-5 good possessions a game and then 3 and outs the rest of the time thus constantly leaving the defense on the field. Steelers game is a perfect example. By the end of the 3rd quarter the defense was absolute toast. Our defense is solid but it definitely isnt good enough to be effective when tired (especially the pass rush)

Well if he wasn't the problem then how come he didn't win the game for us against houston and the jets? I guess you can blame casper for knocking the ball loose against the texans, and blame the blitzing that the jets did. He had chances to win the game for us but didn't when we needed him too. It's a combination of many things, but to say he is not part of the problem is just being naive.

Those stats are misleading as last year we had the lead so we just ran the ball and wasted the clock. where as this year we have had to come from behind so we are doing a little more on offense to catch up.

He's our best chance at winning people. He's not Drew Brees, he's not Tom Brady. His job is to manage the game. I trust him, Jeff Fisher trusts him. He's not gonna light it up for 6 td's. I think he is more equipped to protect a lead than to make one.

Believe it or not going 0-11 in the forth WILL NOT win you games. Going 0-11 will not even let you hang on to a win. If Kerry Collins is are best chance of winning then we, to put it lightly, our FRICKED

100% agree. But how far can that really take you? I don't want a QB that has to rely on a superb effort from the rest of the team to be successful. I want a QB who can come through when it counts and win the :grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr: game for us.

The problem is he can't even do that. Seriously the guy has blown it big time in the clutch. We can blame special teams and our D only so much. Because despite all those mistakes, Kerry has had the opportunity to lead this team to victory and hasn't.

He wears that Captain's C on his jersey but he hasn't showed any real leadership when we have needed him most. He's had all of last season plus a playoff game, plus a whole off-season and preseason with the 1st team and you would think that he's our backup. Well, he should be. I ain't a VY jock-rider either, I just ain't crazy enough to think that KFC gives us a better chance of winning than VY does.

I'm not saying that Collins is the only reason or the main reason we are 0-3, but I will say that you can't ignore his contribution to our being winless. He has only completed 38.6 % of his second half passes with 1 TD and 1 INT.

An interesting thing I discovered when looking up his statistics is the number of pass attempts per quarter:

    Q1-19 attempts Q2-42 attempts Q3-20attempts Q4-24 attempts
