While I think we should start VY next week, I fully understand the decision to not bring in our developing QB when we are getting clobbered and the game is not yet out of reach.

That would be an epic example of being set up for failure.

Anybody who thinks we can still make the playoffs is delusional.

There is no reason for Kerry Collins to play another down. Our goal for the next 12 games should be to evaluate and develop the talent that is not up for contract next year.

I'm not a CBA expert, but it appears to me that this franchise is in DEEP DOO-DOO if it doesn't get worked out by the end of this year.

I disagree with all of you who say the defense sucks!

Tony Brown is the MAN! Tony Brown knocked the hell out of Garrard numerous times!
What can BROWN do for you!

Not enough to get a W.

He is a good player that I hope we resign.

Sort of like letting a rookie start in week 3 and allowing him to play how he wants. then trying to change his entire style over the offseason.

He started week 4, but I get your point.

Amen to that...whether it was week 3 or week 4.

Riverman is right, lets get real, the run for the 2009 playoffs ended at halftime yesterday.

No slam on Collins, it is just time to bring VY back for evaluation (after this week).

Sooner is better, but putting him out in prime time against the undefeated and rolling Colts next week would be like asking him to defend the Alamo with a sling shot, and would certainly be setting him up for failure, IMO.

Brown is good and I hope we resign him, but some of his hits on Garrard, if done in other weeks, would cost us 15 yards. I am not saying I agree that it should, but it would.

I think that our "Pro Bowl" DB's are still at the Hula party in Hawaii, though. Their play has been worse than when Lamont and Rey Rey were roaming back there.
