We can't run the ball because we're always losing.

It's not that we're ineffective when we do run, as evidenced by CJ's rank in rushing, but that we always have to pass to try to stay in the game.

 

Wow. I did not know that.
Too bad the knowledge of the records of the teams they play for is like a scratching interruption of a nice melodic song being played on a vinyl record.

 

They throw down the field. It just doesn't work that often. I remember them trying to trick (I believe the Jets) on 4th with a hurry up and it just glided out of bounds.

No point in throwing deep on this team. Not with what we're working with.

Haha...sorry. I'll elaborate.


Ok, let's say the knowledge that CJ's leading rushing yards is metaphorically a nice song being played on a vinyl record, on an old turntable.
Now, let's say that finding out the NFL's leading rusher is on an 0-4 team is metaphorically like someone smacking the needle arm of the turntable that makes that loud scratch, that so rudely interrrupts the song.
Kinda like on "Friday" when Craig and Smokey were watching Mrs. Parker and the music was playing in the background, then abruptly stopped when Craig's mom interrupted their 'bird' watching. Remember that? That's what I was getting at. LOL

 

The fact that our run game looks like: 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 70. Those first sets of 0's are 3 and outs and the 70 was a draw on 3rd and long...

Contrary to popular belief, we haven't been that good of a running team for positive yards each play, just with CJ we can hit homeruns fairly often. But our batting average is terrible.

I'd much prefer to see something like: 2,3, 1, 5, 7,3, 15,4,1,35, etc.
