I didn't see McNair early in his career so I couldn't tell you. And there is a difference between a hater and critic and it's a difference that cannot be seen by the fans of the one being criticized ie you.

So what you want to wait 15 years to see if Young can get it done? This doesn't even make sense.

Johnson had nothing to prove in pre season, we know he's great. Young had tons to prove in the pre season. Fresh off of saying he's going to be a hall of fame QB you would think he would tear up second string defenses right? Instead we got inconsistency and ugly turnovers. If he had played every game like the Tampa game then great, I'd want him at QB too but he didn't.

If you didn't see McNair in his early years, then maybe you need to STHU about Vince.

That wasn't the point and you know it.
You and your passive-aggressive negativity might be ready to give up on Vince, but I'm not. I didn't realize there were people out there like you that don't believe in second chances.

Kinda like we're getting now from your butt-buddy Collins?

he's definitely got a loss somewhere in there. brandon jones dropped a pass that would have given us a first down in the two-minute drill to take the lead.

    KC starting = Colts 5-0

Tennessee is tied at 31 (dead last) in pass defense.

The Colts have the #1 rated passing attack in the NFL

    Do the math...

Any QB we can find to play for us in that game = Colts 5-0

Your statement is a MOOT point.

We'll since he's not starting against the Colts, the only question is WHEN will he start. We all know it's coming, regardless of how Collins plays. At some point they have to see how VY does before they pay him or release him.

It all depends on how awful 0-4 looks to you. If the season is already lost, then start Vince next week and see how he handles the rest of the year. Then there's no more debate on VY - he sinks or swims. If there is still some hope at 0-4, no matter how small, then why make such a drastic change at QB when there are plenty of other changes still to be made (correcting mental mistakes, adjusting defensive scheme, maybe running the ball 40 times a game instead of throwing it 40 times).

I'm pessimistic that VY can do much better than Collins has. I'm absolutely sure he can't do worse. The season isn't technically lost yet, but it will be after the bye and that's when we'll see Vince.

Are you trying to say VY didn't perfect his passing skills watching KC from the bench?

    How is that possible?

We won't even talk about him playing with the second and third stringers.

Maybe you would be happier if he had thrown 6 INTs in those 4 games like KC has done?

Oh and BTW - VY had 4 TDs, 3 INTs and 1 rushing TD in preseason. KC had 2 passing TDs and 2 INTs. I guess that means VY was responsible for 5 touchdowns vs KC's two.

There it is...right there. Stop trying to hide behind being a "critic". Any fool that saw the preseason see that the guy improved.

Additionally, if you never saw McNair at the beginning of his career then hell you have been barely following the titans.

Kurt Warner was another QB that was deemed unready to play pro ball and probably wasn't initially but had a lot of potential and so does Young.
Collins isn't getting his part done.
Young is already bought and well paid for.
He would definitely give us a new face to curse, at the worst.
It ain't working now so.............what was the definition of insanity again?
