Vince in his rookie year and now!!!

Kerry threw the ball 33 more times last year than Vince did in '07. With CJ. How one dimensional do you want VY to make this offense?

Britt isn't making the huge impact that you're thinking he is either. He's having a very solid rookie year, but he's not a Pro Bowl caliber difference maker yet.

ONCE AGAIN I never said how well Vince was. I was replying to your statement about the 2007 team that was lead by Vince. I mean, according to you, even though your precious Steelers were Super Bowl Champions, the Titans were still the better team in the NFL last year. I mean, the Titans had a better record right?

How often do teammates/coaches come out and throw one of their own under the bus? Just because they didn't say it in a presser doesn't mean they weren't thinking it. You're entitled to believe what you want though.

 

I think judging by some of the comments made by his team that they would have no problem falling in line with him leading them. Bulluck commented just this past week with the statement that Vince is "handcuffed" right now. I don't think that is the type of language you use if you don't want the guy to have his shot. Just my opinion.

 

This whole Kerry vs. Vince thing is so retarded.

The 07 defense was literally the worst in the league. The offense wasn't very efficient either.

The 08 defense was probably the 3rd best if you ignore stats, which accounted for probably 90% of our wins. The offense was only better because of Chris Johnson.

The 09 defense is terrible if you judge us by our pass defense, which is probably on Cecil's bill. The offense has a lot more talent then any team we've had in probably 5 years. Yet, we're turning the ball over too much and they realistically can't put up 27+ a game to match what the defense gives up, anyway.

Comparing a 07 Vince to the team Kerry's playing with now is just stupid. Let's compare Vince to the 89 Joe Montana and Kerry to the 84 Dan Marino next. They're both equally valid to the argument going on in here.

The '07 defense ranked 8th in points per game, 5th in rushing yards, 10th in passing yards, and 5th in total yards.
