I Knew We Were In Trouble When ...

Anyone who watched the pre season games knew we were in trouble.

I knew in week 2 in preseason our secondary didnt look the same. And it carried over into the regular season and has gotten worse. The offense has surprised me though, i really thought it would be better than last season. The team Chemistry and Identity are gone on offense. Defense was dead in preseason imo.

 

Haven't had a ton of opportunities to use them yet have they? :ha:


Honestly I can't sit here and say I knew we were in THIS MUCH trouble at any point (until yesterday that is). Looks like the entire team got complacent after our league-best record last season. And it's the coaches job to ensure a team doesn't get complacent after a good season. Instead of doing his job, Fisher decided to join in on the complacency.

 

When Brian Baldinger on NFLN picked us to upset the Patriots... It seemed like a jinx

 

Tom Brady threw five touchdown passes on us... in one quarter... in the snow. Then Belichick- Bill Belichick- even felt bad for us and stopped scoring for most of the second half.

 

The preseason really was the beginning of the demise with Fisher already making excuses like preseason is to evaluate all the talent not about necessarily winning.

 

All we kept hearing in the Preseason was were not game planning for these games that why 1st team offense and defense have look so bad.

 

I was thinking wow this must be the first year we've not gameplanned because we usually tend to take great pride in preseason accomplishments
