He's in areal pickle. He has to put VY in. If VY is a bust then he's fired for nondevelopment. If VY wins games then he's fired for not putting him in earlier. The only way I don't see him being fired is if VY is a bit better than Kerry but the defense steps up and actually has games where they help us win. That way It shows that they are making gains with Vince but he couldn't have won without the major improvement from the d that the coaches are at least partially responsible for.
I personally don't see the d improving greatly so I think we are shopping for a new coaching staff shortly (truth is we probably already are).

We may be able to beat the Colts, that game wont mean anything to them unless the texans keep winning.

We have a bad rep. for not resigning players (we all know that). KB said before the season that he did not think that he would be resigned. Then Jeff decided not to make him a team captain. That was an eye opener! Then to give Kerry 7 million and sign Faggins (I mean really, Faggins) to a million $+ deal without giving AH reasonable money a year ago (50 mill + could have kept him) is nonsense.

Absolutely. We have a ton of young guys on the bench that we *think* could be a big part of the future. Some will and some won't. We've got a free chance to test them all out at once and let them learn in a pretty much risk-free environment.

I would never have thought this was possible just 3 months ago, but I give Fisher about a 20% chance of staying at this point. Maybe voluntary, maybe not. This rates as one of the worst collapses in NFL history and Fisher got caught holding all the reins when it happened. 5-11 would be an optimistic ending at this point, and that's not going to cut it.

5 or 6 wins will save his job. But, they need to make some really good moves next off season.

How do you keep those players around?

Isn't it a matter of time before those same players quit on another coach?

    We'll win two games tops.

Unless fisher starts evaluating our young guys with a view to cleaning house he's going to look lost & hopeless.if he sticks doggedly to the same MO he deserves to go.
