The bottom line is that whatever Fisher does on Sunday, it will likely be no worse than what has already occurred. The team has no/few leaders because those that can lead , for reasons we don't know, not stepped up. And Fisher just repeats the mantra-we just need that first win and all will be well. He repeated it again Monday night on his show. In fact, nothing he said inspired any kind of confidence.

Well, he had the reigns for two seasons. Some time has passed since then, but anyway, how well did Vince play then?

Is there even one thing Vince Young's fans can say he consistently does well? I think most of us agree he should start at this point. Even then, some of us seem to be under the impression he's going to turn our season around. I for one don't expect him to do anything against the Jags, should he start or play. Del Rio has consistently had his number. My hopes are that by season's end, he'll somehow "get" it, or we've all seen enough that we all agree he should be gone. That's what I hope. I predict the latter.

    Win. :)

Honestly, I was pretty down on VY after the whole Jacksonville fiasco last year. Yet I still I think he deserves another chance. Do I think he's going to go out there and light it up? I sure hope so, but I wouldn't bet the house on it or anything. If he doesn't show us much the rest of the season I'll gladly fall right in line with the VY-haters and say 'bye bye Vince'.

Roby is now the Saints kick off returner. He's having a good season in the role so far. Why couldn't we see what we had in him?

    You asked:

I replied to your question about progress in preseason and you laugh because it's a preseason game.

Vince can hit a receiver's shoes in 150mph winds from 100 yards away. At night.

I am not rebuilding with Jeff Fisher again
    we've been rebuilding since 2004
I am tired of experimental projects and special teams experts
no more high school caliber coordinators
    I'm done with archaic philosophy
    playing 'not to lose'
    first round playoff losses
    porn star mullets and mustaches
    Donnie Nickey

this is the best team he's ever had ..... and he's taken them 0-6
    time to move on

Maybe I laughed because I could use the same method (cherry picking a game) to make it look like Chris Henry was making real progress. Damn our FO! How could they ever let that talent get away!?

Vince has had some problems, yeah. People are blasting him saying that the college game is different from the pro game bla bla bla...

Vince HAS seen success as a pro. He was offensive rookie of the year. He led us to the playoffs; then, he was pulled after a three game bad start the next season.
