It's pretty clear that CJ is the sole number 1 back on our team and LenDale has been seeing less and less time on the field. This is after he lost a lot of weight and worked hard in the offseason. Heck, we're even using CJ in short yardage situations now- an area that used to be LenDale's area of expertise. Ringer looks promising as a back up to CJ as well.

So what's going to happen to him? Will his decline in playing time hurt his value so much that we hold on to him at a reduced price? Will he get a big contract in free agency, and if so, will he become a featured back again?

Just wanted to see what people thought was going to happen, because I could see several possibilities. My guess is that he'll get a pretty good contract in free agency and not look back, which is probably the best situation for him. Best of luck to him with whatever happens.

Im sure Lendale will find a team that needs a true starting running back. Pretty sure the Texans will take a look at him because they're in all sorts of need at that position.

I think theres been bumping of heads behind closed doors and the coaching staff just doesnt want anything to do with him anymore, at first I thought they were jsut trying to limit his touches so after two seasons he doesnt seem like an Endzone king and will demand alot of money, but its past that now, hes just not hitting the field at all anymore

Since the owners opted out of the current CBA, he should be a RFA, not an UFA. The Titans will have some good options on what to do with him in the offseason. The same applies to several other players. It's a good situation for the team but not that good for the players.

I think the coaching staff finally realized he's completely useless especially when you have Jesus playing runningback on your team.

He was replaced when we drafted Javon Ringer. He had a chance to earn a nice contract, but he's been a ghost this year. I'm sure Baltimore will take him. That's where every other Titans career goes to die.
