I think it's a bad idea to start thinking we reach the playoffs.

I'm still in the mind set as i was when we were 0-6 , our playoff hopes are over. We are still going to lose more games this season. Im just having fun watching the games and seeing how VY does. Im not even thinking about post season. If you are your just going to be heart broken.

The next tie-breaker after division record would be common games...which i believe right now Jags 5-4 Titans 3-5... so we can tie break against them even if they do beat Hou or Ind...but it's very possible they lose to both.

What we need to make the playoffs at 10-6 is all but one of these scenarios to take place:

    Steelers lose 3 of 6
    Broncos lose 3 of 6
Jags lose 2 or 3 of 6(depending on who they beat)
    Ravens lose 2 of 6
Texans lose 1 or 2 of 6(depending on who they beat)
    Jets lose 1 of 6

I think that's a pretty good shot considering The Broncos have lost 4 straight, The Ravens are 2-5 in the last 7, Jags suck, Texans and Jets only have to lose one.

9-7 is also still possible, but it is a long shot to say the least.

Playoffs Starts this week for VY n the Titans. Word around the Locker room is treat everygame as a playoff game. A loss and the seasons over. CJ is giving everyone hope and swagger and he gots their respect with his play. He will lead this team to greatness. If we do lose a game we should give him less carries and try to extend him.

    Next week we need;

    Giants>Broncos
    Panthers>Jets
    Browns>Bengals
    Colts>Texans
    49ers>Jags
    Ravens>Steelers
    Buffalo>Phins

The Chargers can do whatever as a long as we beat them.

The odds are in our favour next week IMO except for the Phins and Bengals. The Jets could easily beat the Panthers but it could go either way.

I think if Harper starts tonight we'll being playing with a handicap that will be tough to overcome. The Texans are no joke but seem to find ways to lose. I'm torn about tonights game if Harpers starts.

Not really huge for us, because they still basically have a 3 game lead on us. We need them to finish no better than 3-3. (Or 7 losses, not sure how many games they've played)

Take it week to week folks. Divisions are close and can change hands on a weekly basis. Don't worry about what the other teams are doing yet and let's hope our boys can keep winning.

Division Winners - Patsy, Indy, Cincy, Sandy
Wild Card 1 - Pit , US IF we win out (INSERT BIG IF COMMENT HERE)

    Teams to worry about...
Baltimore 5-5 - Play Steelers twice, GB, Chicago (will loose at least 2 more)
Jags 6-4 - Play SF, Hou, Miami, Indy, NE (Will loose at least 3 more)
Houston 5-5 after tonight - Play Indy, Jax, NE, Miami (will loose at least 2 more)
Denver 6-4 - NYG, Indy, Philly, Oak, KC twice (Will have to loose 3 more)

Will we win out? We ARE aloud to dream! Our passion as Titans fans allows us to have the heart to believe. We are heading in the right direction. Lets wait and see. It is all in the hands of our boys in BLUE now!

Each and every week I look at the AFC's schedule including every AFC team good or bad, and circle the non conference games, and hope the NFC wins. Then I check out games like the KC - PIT and go with the team that helps us. So far I'm finding that we can't rely on anyone to help us, and need to simply go 10-0 following our bye week. That's it plain and simple, we only have 1 option and its to win.

The Chiefs deciding to take advantage of Big Ben's injury was helpful, but we cant count on these things happening every week.

That's a great way of looking at it, but the fact is we need help to make the playoffs even if we win out. We can easily finish 10-6 and get knocked out by a tie breaker. At the same rate, we could probably finish 9-7 and make the playoffs with a few miracles in other games.

At this point the only thing that matters this season is getting a look at some of our young players, seeing if Vince can be the QB of the future, and getting CJ above 2,000 yards.

If we win the next 3 games, then I'll resurrect some playoff hopes. Realistically this season will go a lot like the last time Vince took over for Collins - great run that almost gets us in, but falls a little short. We were 2-7 after 9 games back then, with a 1-6 conference record. So we're actually in a better position now, but it's just really hard to overcome 6 conference losses. I'd rather enjoy bursting the Texans' bubble and maybe playing spoiler to SD or Miami.
