does it really matter? we are 3-6 i rather see VY and our rookies grow some chemistry together than to win and only have Britt touch the ball 4 times like last week.

Need to get the whole offense more involved and ready for a good run next season.

If we pass the ball 40 times or run the ball all day it doesn't really matter. A win is a win.

These days JF never seems to amaze me. I have a feeling his "loyalty" philosophy is going to bite us in the :grrr::grrr::grrr:. Harper got BURNED during that first game against houston..and now he's coming off an injury and hasnt played in 3 weeks? Really dont get it

I gotta agree with ya. I didn't get to hear about it until after the game happened but I was informed that our team's coverage was less then stellar.

I just don't see him being "better" when coming off an injury.

I'm not saying "toss him out" but he shouldn't start vs a team he did bad in covering when hes just NOW coming off an injury. Let Hood in to start and put Harper in for a few D plays mid game if necessary to let him ease in IMO.

Yea if anything that would make the most sense or maybe use harper as the nickle back for now. I honestly think the only way to prevent Harper from being exposed again is for the front line to get tremendous pressure on schaub..because if he has to go one-on-one again I dont see much changing. It seems like he either gets beat deep...or he plays so far off the WR that..the reciever gets an easy 10yrds everytime.

Harper's stats last season would be a good argument...He was a pretty damn good corner.

Harper is good. Stating guys like Lamont, Jmac, and Fowler are useless doesn't prove anything besides your an average fan who can watch a game. We didn't have anyone behind Lamont, Jmac, or Fowler so there was never any debate.

Hood got cut twice, is every coach in the NFL an idiot because they don't do what the fans want?

I think Harper helps this team, and I could care less which one starts because they're both going to get reps.

Harper stinks. he is slow, old and short, bad combo for any position expecially the most athletic postion on the D

I've previously stated that Harper has been a good player for us.

We're no longer playing the system we were last season. We were through the games before Harper was injured and he got burned badly especially against Houston.

We're now playing more man and that's where Harper has struggled the most throughout his career. By all means ease him back into games(he's a killer player against the run) but dang don't put him in to fix something that isn't broken.

In terms of what have you done for me lately Hood has been outstanding. Forget the past he's getting it done right now.

Lamont was terrible. Fuller and Lowry were better. 10 men on the field would have been better.

Fowler should never have been signed. He delayed the development of Tulloch.

JMac are you nucking futs? He was being favoured as the #1 over both Gage and Jones. When he got injured last season the passing game improved and Hawkins started to ease into the line up.

He came back and we went back to a stuttering offence. He changed the dynamic. We had Hawkins,Williams and Davis who never got a shot beyond special teams because JMac was favoured.

This reminds me when Fisher kept saying "Collins had a good week of practice."

Play who is hot. I dont care who had a good week of practice. Its is practice and not the game, which is all that matters. Harper is now half robot with the plate in his arm, and ev1 know how slow robots are.

The only thing we can hope for is either Harper come in and play lights out OR if he doesn't and Fish rears his stubbornness again, that Bud takes notice and then continues to 'look at the coaching pretty hard' even harder.
I hope that if Bud can't let Fisher go w/o paying him a huge severance, that he demotes Fisher to a figure head (like Zorn was), so at least he can't do any further logistical/coaching decisions damage.
