I know that I want to see CJ set a record but I would like to see Lendale get a few more carries. He did run the ball strong last night for the opportunities that he received.
Are we purposely keeping him off the field to bring his stock down so he would be less expensive to resign?

I don't think this is a sneaky strategy in effort to lower his value. I just see us as having the best player in football, and being smart enough to utilize him. LenDale is rotting away playing 2nd fiddle to C.J.. I mean I like LenDale, and hope he stays, but he's too good to never touch the ball. He'll want a chance to play, so he'll go elsewhere.

And before another thread gets made about keeping Bulluck, let me say he'll want to be back if we keep winning. Even if we don't finish playoff style, I still see Bulluck coming back. LenDale may want to be back actually. I mean we are playing great football, and he knows it, but again, he's too good to not play. So he's gone.

I would like to see Chris Johnson saved a little bit more for later.

Let the defense be bruised while trying to chase CJ down.

I would like to see more of Lendale, but CJ is playing really good so Lendale is gonna have to wait his turn. Which probably won't be as a Titan. He did do good in his limited playing time.

I like him, but CJ is way too good to not be in there.

Not resigning him. With our OL, we can spend a 6th rounder on a goal line back to replace him. I still thought we should have drafted Rashad Jennings.

I was screaming in the 0-6 run that we needed to keep CJs carries around 15-20 (plus 5-10 more touches as a receiver), and take 10 throws per game and give them to LW.

Instead we have pretty much taken those 10 throws and given them to CJ, and as much as I don't want to wear him out he looks to be getting stronger and it's hard to justify not giving him the ball. I wouldn't mind using LW to give CJ a breather, but everyone on the team wants to see Johnson over 2000 yards and it's going to take feeding him the ball to get there.

I though LenDale needed more carries earlier in the season too but I'll admit I was wrong. I can't deny the numbers. Since the bye CJ has 24+ carries in each game and has rushed for 228, 135, 132 and 151 yards. I love LenDale but CJ is straight up getting it done. And if we want to keep our slim playoff hopes alive we need our best players on the field (ahem... Rod Hood).

    Me too.

Can't take away from CJ when he's possibly going to break the YPC season record as well as join the few backs to go 2000+

I like Lendale but unfortunately it's hard to see a scenario where he remains a Titan.

I agree, LenDale is most likely gone next year. The only reason he may stay is if CJ gets hurt and White is able to keep the rushing offense going over the course of several games (let's hope that scenario doesn't play out- CJ getting hurt, that is). Don't forget they may have LenDale's replacement in Javon Ringer.
