    You are right.

The team with the best shot at the last wildcard right now is Baltimore. IF we win out, we're probably one or two spots on the outside looking in barring any big upsets.

Jax will be the team to watch here. They still play Indy and NE, so we gotta hope they lose those 2.

NYJ, Balt, Pitts and Miami are done as far as I see it. Denver could very well lose out which would really help us out. So the way I see it, Jax and Denver end up with 8 losses and we leapfrog them sneaking our way into the playoffs.

Hey all of the pieces fell into place for us to make the playoffs in 2006, and all we had to do was win our game against NE. Well we all know how that turned out. EVERYTHING happened that we needed to happen, EXCEPT for us winning our game. With that being said, let's just worry about us winning the remainder of the games, and let everything else fall into place. Remember "Any given Sunday....".

i see Jacksonville losing to Indy & New England, We have Miami next week so we absolutely need to win that game, Pitt may definetly lose to Baltimore & Green Bay, the Jets wotn beat Indy or Cinci

i think our chances are better then it appears

Assuming we win out (which is a big ask, especially with Miami and San Diego), I think everything hinges on Chicago @ Baltimore.

If Jay Cutler can somehow not screw up enough to throw the game away....

So, it all comes down to rooting for Cutler. I'll do what I gotta do. But life is not without a sense of irony.

    Hrm.

IMO Fish isn't necessarily a bad coach. He has some personal issues that get in the way, however...........

He's way too damn stubborn; refuses to act when he obviously should, etc.

I almost wanna say those are emotional/personal issues and not due to bad coaching ability....he is ridiculously loyal for example. All the elite teams play 'whomever is getting it done'; not by seniority. Thats a big prob IMO.

Now.......if only we'd find a good special teams lol.
