And if you want to make THAT argument- you can even more easily say that the defensive ends (Titans and Redskins) on the team have had their BEST days when he's been on the sidelines.

But nah. That'd make too much sense. It's easier to just think he's great because espn says so. He's back to merely good Albert. Nothing special- and damned sure nothing even 80mill special.

No Doubt he's a very good NT but 100 plus Million Dollars is way to much money for anyone to pay. The skins keep trying to buy a championship and they haven't even come close.

The dude is a shell of what he was last year, when he actually had a quality defense around him.

And the notion that our 0-6 start was due to lack of AH is absurd. How about an offense that can't put together a 4 play drive? Or maybe a negative TO Ratio. Or a new defensive scheme. Or a secondary minus our top 3 starters. Yeah, losing Haynesworth sucked. I'm over it. And I bet the Foreskins are wishing they didn't pay out the a$s for him now that they're realizing that he'll never be close to the player we had last year. I thought he would actually remain a dominant DT in the game for years to come, but it's looking like all the people (Gloat) who said he'd get the pay day and quit working were right.

 

And let's not forget: The Redskins had a good defense before Al. They may have even gotten worse on that side of the ball.

Yep. Last year the Redskins were ranked #4 in overall Defense. This year? 7th.

8th.

I am solidly in the AH for 100 mill camp! No doubts about it. KVB has been exposed for the one trick pony he is, Griffin a former prow bowl safety exposed for the soft tackle missing walking tread mark..(ranked bottom 3 in the league now), Harper who some how managed to hide his awful talent as a corner for years behind the speed rush of AH, how about those two DTs (one signed with the bengals the other with the cardinals for big money)

Are you kidding me folks? AH single handedly turned that pathetic bunch into one of the best defenses in the league and you say he isnt worth 100 million?


Can you imagine how many more games he plays if we was still with the titans (albeit with 2009 VY version starting) and his defense doesnt spend 3/4 of the game on the field?


Those people who love to quote his career stats forget that that his defense has been stifled with very bad offenses that kept him and his defensive team mates on the field way too long . Even with the games he missed prior to 2008, his stats on snaps played were right there with the top nose tackles in the league.


Lets see you put on 300lbs and have to push around two other guys weighing over 280 each 16 games a season. Lets see exactly how long your body holds up and how healthy you stay playing behind that stagnant unimaginative bull crap fisher trotted out on the field in 2007 (and he is got the same craptastic nonsense in DC that keeps him on the field 3 quarters a freakin game)


Tell you what, i will trade you KVB, griffin, Harper, and Hope contracts, sign a bunch of rejects off the street and turn all of them into pro- bowlers playing on the same d-line with haynesworth!!! (and with the money saved over from cutting those useless louts, you would more than have enough to pay FAT BOY his loot, keep him home, content with his homies, motivated and fired up to get VY the ball when we really need that win..)

Any body think AH is really that fired up about pretty much any body on the skins offense? any body think AH and Jason Campbell go out for a night on the town together? honestly do you guys think AH would be the same unmotivated bored guy he is right now playing behind CJ, VY and crew?
