I get some people's points. Sure, if you take VY now and place him on the team we had last year....I absolutely believe that Titans would have won a Superbowl.

But VY wasnt what he is now last year....so its all a mute point.

Vince will win a Super Bowl, and will be in the H.O.F.. He told me that. Nothing else matters. I'm just waiting for him to deliver on that, and I feel that he will.

You forgot to capitalize your 'oh', and 'its' and 'not'. LOL just messing with you. Some people like their reading material to be nicely written. No biggie to most though.

Actually if CJ didn't get hurt against Baltimore, I think we could have won it all then.

tf4l10, other side of that... w/o last year you don't have the VY of the present day...

hell, you start VY against the Colts in the first game or the Patriots... you might not have the same guy even then. He's grown, without a doubt, he's way better and I think he'll improve... but Fisher decided to set him up to succeed rather than to fail. In weeks 5 and 6 we had both the Colts and Pats to play before the bye week. It was smart to do the qb change over the bye... I don't care how people want to spin what they read in the papers about K.S. Adams.

I never have said that Fisher made the wrong decision with Vince as far as when he came in, if he was the one that made the decision.

I find it very hard to buy into this idea that Fisher was "waiting for the right time" to start Vince. Funny that moment came at the exact same time Bud demanded that Vince start. :ha:

If Bud wanted Vince in that bad don't you think he made it well known to Fish before getting to the point of going public? If Fish had this master plan to "set Vince up for success" you'd think he would've let Bud in on it to avoid him getting pissed and going public like he did. Come on guys. Fish had no intention of starting Vince wk7 until Bud put his foot down.

I don't doubt that Fish preferred to start Vince against an easier opponent than the likes of Indy and New England. I just don't think that time would've been week 7 against Jacksonville. He would've waited until we were out of the playoff picture completely before making the change. I mean, he was still repeatedly saying "Kerry gives us the best chance to win" and refusing to say anything even remotely negative about his performance. The guy had a full blown man crush.

It wasn't some genius master plan. The boss man told him what's what and he caved.

Great Post. Especially this part. I couldn't agree more. Fish is dead to me.
