Drop Nate and Harper. These guys seem to let us down when we need them the most. Ironically, I believe they're paid substantially more than our real breadwinners at their position.

I really wouldn't mind keeping the rest. Even guys like Alge if he's blocking and mentoring our younger players. And who knows if Javon will actually be better than Lendale? For the right price, I'd like to keep the Lendale/CJ duo alive and hopefully not wear Chris out before he turns 28.

    addition by subtraction:

KVB < Jacob Ford and has been for awhile, we would have been better of handing his spot to Ford this year but with Fisher the only way a vet gets demoted is if he is cut.

Harper < Hood, McCourty, whoever we draft. Harper may not have been anything special but he was solid up until this year. Now he is just a huge liability with no upside.

Amano < Harris. Amano is one of the few lineman to be coached by Munchak and still be nothing more than average.

Lendale (Keep - if LW wanted to stay for cheap)
    Alge (Drop)
Scaife (Keep - If he wanted to stay for a reasonable price, he is not a top tier te but definetly in the higher class of average te's)
    Mawae (Keep)
    Tony Brown (Keep)
    Amano (Keep)
Vanden Bosch (Drop - has been invisible this season)
    Amato (Drop)
Bulluck (Keep - aslong as we dont pay top dollar)
Tulloch (Keep - very solid MLB)
    Harper (Drop)
Fuller (Keep - Key to our defense and has been very reliable)

Why are all of you so keen to drop Amato? He's rock solid at the long-snapper position and costs virtually nothing to keep. With the holes we already have why create new ones where there isn't a need?

I'm no GM but it sure seems to me like some people posting in this thread think its possible to carry an All-Pro at every position on the field.

How many of these threads are there? Seriously. I don't care if we have 12 or more, but I'm not typing the same thoughts Iv had from July every week. But have fun you guys.

    lol

once i seen what he said about Bo:gag: i stopped reading. I will be blunt and say most of this thread is completely wasted space by folks who understand little of NFl football..

any body wanna bet that if we dont franchise tag him Bo is gonna sign with another team for an even fatter contract than anything the titans could have offered him? (thats assuming the owners and players union get their stuff sorted out soon because i think most of those old rules go out the window if they dont) And some one just called him an over rated back up?
