This doesn't mean that I don't think Asomugha is good or that I think he's worse than Revis. It's just that it's easy to see how much Revis contributed to the Jets. Take him away from their team and they wouldn't have even made the playoffs.

It's really tough to argue who the best CB is. The main reason being that you shouldn't see the really good ones too often. I do think it's a stretch for you to say that he isn't the best though.

 

You guys are all clueless. You forget this is a Jeff Fisher team. No one player fits into Fishers scheme as well as this man...

Word. I disagree though. The Jets D got them to the playoffs due to Rex Ryan's schemes moreso than Revis' play IMO. A corner is always going to look much better when QBs are under pressure- we've seen that first hand.

Without Ryan's scheme, did we even hear of Revis' name last year?

Yeah, I get that. I think that they both went hand in hand though. The blitzing would be a lot more reckless if Revis couldn't take the best guy out of the picture.

Based on the fact that he didn't show up til this year could mean that his success came from Ryan scheme. However, you could also argue that he had just improved, seeing that it was only his 3rd year. You could also argue that he just had the same problem as Nnamdi, no recognition! and it took Ryan's scheme and/or the Jets' success to bring him some fame.

Who really knows though? :ha:

 

The titans need to add jared allen. He is a beast. Allen would add to the titans lacking pass rush.
