crump was a big help to CJ getting his 2k IMO

Man can lay down the block-smack. Can't say the same for some of the others out there.........

This is true, but Alge is d@mn near 300 lbs. The man needs to get his weight down.

Calico was inconsistent, but began to be a great target right before Roy Williams killed him.

Cook only had 9 catches, but like 3-4 were on the game winning drive vs Arizona. And they were big. We put him in thinking either the game was over or that we needed someone to get us down field... either way, he showed that when he actually gets to play, he can play well.

Problem is- once again this is the common case of Jeff Fisher ignoring a playmaker. I'm really surprised the guy lets CJ play more than on special occasions.

Yeah, I'ma kinda have to call bs on that. I'm pretty sure it was because everyone else was just dog-tired. And I'm pretty sure no one here is doubting Cooks abilities in a spread formation as a receiver, but its his every down stuff that we're worried about.

Cook had 2 catches in the Arizona game. Big damn deal. Does that one game suddenly make Cook and Hawkins viable players?

Cook is supposed to be a first rate pass receiver so 9 catches is disappointing.

Same with Stevens who is a blocking specialist, who made the all pac 10 team almost entirely for his blocking. If Cook can't produce as a receiver and Stevens can't get it done as a blocker we wasted those picks.

Signing crumpler probably means a scaife trade or that Stevens is a bust.

How many games was cook even active? I dont get people being so down on cook. Fisher did not let him play much at all. If you are not on the field you cannot make plays. Crumpler was over 300 lbs at one point last season. Stevens is the bust. And cook may well be, but I am not going to say that until he gets to play.

Until the smaller guys on the line can block as consistently, and as hard, as Algae I'm not sure his 300lbs is all that bad.

We definitely need some more catching TEs tho.............they need to start rotating cook at the least but who knows how much he's truly developed?

Also saying "9 catches isn't impressive" is crap........you have to be playing to get catches ;p He hasn't been in much if you haven't noticed ;p

    DUDE... HE DIDN'T PLAY.

Did you see him in preseason? Did you see him when he actually got to play? He was CLEARLY the best TE we had when Fisher would pull his head from his arse and let the guy play.

Again, Fisher hates anyone that can make plays that isn't named Chris Johnson.
