Will Witherspoon to visit Tuesday

I'd rather have picked up Kirk Morrison to play inside but I guess Will Witherspoon isn't that bad.

 

witherspoon definitely had his best years in carolina when he was playing the WLB spot instead of MLB when he was in st louis.

 

Be good depth...McGrath has shown he can be a player. I'm not worried about OLB if Bull doesn't come back...I would like to see him back but, McGrath is a baller.

 

Witherspoon is good against the pass but somewhat weak against the run. Might fit with the Titans, though, since the scheme the Titans use relies much less on a run-stuffing MLB than many other teams.

 

I swear bud is so darn cheap it makes me sick.

 

He'll play outside in Tennessee if he signs.

 

I read that he played a lot more bump and shed blocks than gap responsibility with philly. Who knows, this could be a gem.

Yeah, prolly not. But we need the depth. Don't mind the move at all.

 

He moved to weakside OLB when he got traded to Philly, so I feel fine with him being OLB.

Honestly this would be a great sign, atleast insurance for if we dont have Bulluck, and at 29 its not exactly like he is extremely old.

The Eagles traded for him as a replacement themselves.....so its not really like he got cut because he wasnt good.

 

I like this move as well. This much better than babin and douglas. Again, WE NEED A CORNER ............... can we just bring in lito sheppard and kick the tires? Leigh Boden? Somebody? Anybody? as long as your last name is not harper of course!

 

People keep referring to this "move" like something has actually happened. He's not signed yet. He hasn't even visited with the team yet.
