CB wasn't the main reason we got torched by the pass last year, it was a lack of a pass rush.

With that being said I voted LB. We're very thin there. More than likely 2 starters will be gone and we're counting on a 2nd year guy to come in and start.

Most mocks have us taking a DE because DE/CB are our biggest needs but after Joe Haden there aren't any 1st round worthy CB's

Im hoping that if the DE they truly want is not there, then trade down and grab one of the "lower" value CB's.

DE is deep this draft...just cause you dont get Paul, or Dunlap, doesnt mean that there isnt a gem to be found.

Has there been no thought of maybe getting Earl Thomas and maybe moving Griff back to CB?

I would love to be one of those teams where the QB gets paranoid that there are great CB's on both sides of the field.....no more of this targeting who isnt covered by Finny.

Yea...im picking CB/Safety, the guys that are there can be some bruising hard hitting guys.

Some how I have a feeling we will be one of those teams that might take a shot at Myron Rolle though........late round CB that could boom or bust, has Fisher smell all over it.

unless we make some sort of trade between now and the draft, biggest need is corner

course DE will be the easiest to take care of in the first round

Gotta agree. Corner is our biggest need.

I voted CB. The DL class is deep plus with Washburn, he can turn anyone into a stud. I have a feeling Bulluck comes back and even then McRath played pretty well. At CB I could see our 1st round pick being an immediate starter especially with Thomas.

First off, I like the username. I was saying that in the preseason of this year and my friends were just laughing...

I'd be fine with Haden or Wilson. I think there's a good chance both could fall to us and I'd honestly take Wilson, so long as he runs well at his pro day. But I think either one is an upgrade over our current CB2.

DE is a position of need, but I would only take Derrick Morgan (doubt he'll fall to us) over Haden or Wilson.

Same with LB- if McClain is somehow there when we pick, any other choice would be a mistake.

What makes our defensive scheme work is a dominant pass rush. We no longer have it and NEED it. So DE is our biggest need even though we might actually upgrade by starting Ford over KVB...but I can't count on it. I could live with JPP, Morgan, Graham, Hughes or even Griffen. Just say NO to Dunlap.

CB is a most pressing need because we don't have a starter opposite Finny and the Titans allow teams to put their best WR on our weakest CB so a Kyle Wilson could go a LONG way!

LB is another way to go because there are 3-4 guys I REALLY like and could be our next 'stud.' But we have options here.

So DE because of our scheme though don't discount DT. There are 4 potential 1st rndrs so they may think we could go DT, DE and take another CB later and hope one can start and or sign a vet free agent (Sheppard/Bly) for a season while a rookie or 2nd yr guy develops.

You have not been paying attention.

They tendered tulloch for a high draft pick so he will be here at least one more year.

They signed a starting caliber OLB in Witherspoon. The linebacker situation has been taken care of.

Not sure how you think a LB would help our pass rush that much either.

First of all I posted that before they signed Witherspoon.

Second, I didn't say a linebacker would help the pass rush, I said I voted for it as our biggest need. I said it was our lack of a pass rush that hurt the secondary (though I probably could have worded it better).
