The Eagles fans boo'd McNabb at the draft when the selected him. I really think McNabb has had a hard time from the get-go in Philly. I also believe that it was incredibly stupid to trade him to the Skins. Now they only get to see Mr. McNabb twice a year, and they better hope it doesn't turn around to bite them in the buttocks. The fans got what they wanted IMO. McNabb is gone, I hope they totally stink this year to show them that they didn't realize what they had. McNabb is no Peyton Manning, but he's not bad either.

Danny boy is still trying to buy him a championship I see.

I've never been a McNabb fan but I think the Eagles organisation and fans have always treated him like crap.

I'm definitely going to be rooting for him to stick it to the Eagles.

You have to look at the future. Mcnabb will be 34 in november. He used to be a runner he is not a running threat any longer. He has been somewhat injury prone and he makes a whole lot of money.

They have a 3rd rd draft pick with 3 seasons of experience ready to take his place. Kolb had significant playing time last year with almost 100 pass attempts and did well.

The timing could not be more ideal because Kolb is ready to start and Mcnabb has maybe only a couple of prime years left. The Eagles get some draft picks they can use to fill holes or get better.

Adam Caplan of Scout reports that Albert Haynesworth was offered to Philadelphia in the Donovan McNabb trade, but the Eagles declined.
PFT also heard rumors that LaRon Landry was a possibility. The fact the Redskins were happy to let Haynesworth go so quickly hints at possible rocky times ahead. Haynesworth may stay on the trade block over draft weekend.

I think both player and team realise that they tried to fit a square peg in a round hole with Haynesworth. They didn't play to his strengths and now they're switching to a 3-4.

Albert wasn't a happy camper in their scheme and he's only going to be more of a sulk in a 3-4.

I've always felt sorry for the raw deal McNabb gets in Philly and from other people. He is underrated in my book and never had decent weapons when he was in his prime other than Westbrook. They finally get Desean Jackson and Maclin and then they trade him!??? It baffles me, add in the fact that he is traded to a division rival!! When he does go back to Lincoln Financial Field; the classless fans in Philly will probably boo him. I'm sure of this certainty just as Im sure he's gonna stick it to them twice a year.

The redskins are now a lock to take an OT @ #4, probably Okung.

The eagles now have a total of 11 draft picks, including 7 in the first 4 rounds.

The Titans better pray this isn't a win-win situation and improves both teams. The have to play the NFC east this year.

He made Jake Plummer look good, best years under Shanahan (along with the other QBs previously mentioned in the thread)

How many Superbowl wins does Fisher have again? How is Shanahan over-rated like Fisher? Take off the two tone blue glasses and see clearly.

Is it really that outrageous to think with a better QB, that the Portis/LJ/Willie Parker combo can produce in the top 16 teams in the NFL in rushing yards?
