I wanted Britt or Nicks at WR or Michael Johnson at DE. Nicks went just before we picked, but I think Britt was the better fit for us anyway. Definitely happy with how it turned out.

On a side note- did anyone think we were going to get Beanie Wells? I remember watching the draft and the Titans were still on the clock and NFL Network showed Beanie on the phone (talking to the Cardinals, but we didn't know that at the time). I would have been shocked, so needless to say I was relieved when they announced we got Britt.

I remember the whole Beanie thing. I was so pissed/confused. I'm like we have CJ, LenDale, and Henry (ha!)... why do we need another RB?! Then I started to think maybe LenDale is getting traded?

I was thinking and feeling the same thing. I thought we were gonna either make a trade for Lendale or maybe trade for Boldin. Neither happened and I was even more confused with the Britt pick.

I'm happy to see that Britt has turned out to be a great pick.

I really wanted Lauranitis or Maualuga. I foresaw us having a big need at LB this year and thought taking one of these guys would fit the bill. Had we taken one of these guys we'd be good at LB and could have later traded for Boldin and still be set at WR.

Kenny Britt has definitely proved himself and we needed to take a WR, but now we're short at the LB spot.

I wanted Nicks. Then Clay Mathews. After that... I cant remember.

I was pleased with Britt though the moment it was announced.

JF hasn't picked a LB in round one since KB, and I seriously doubt we will again this year.

Darius Butler, but he hasn't really done much either. It's hard to tell right now though, ask again in 3 years.

I wanted Nicks. Britt has turned out wonderfully.

I began touting Britt on a thread for another WR. Posted up that block he threw against Arkansas. Some posters said he couldn't catch the ball.

I touted Robert Ayers but that was for our system and the 30th pick. I never saw him as a 3-4 OLB but Denver obviously did and had him playing behind Dumervil.

Had we drafted Ayers at 30 i think he would have contributed more than Marks did last year and we obviously would not have drafted Marks in rd 2.

Glad things turned out the way they did because Britt was a far better WR prospect than anyone we could have drafted later on.

I'm still mad we passed on Terry Tate.
