    My goodness man.
Here is the quote from Don Banks since things have gone Oliver Stone:
Wow. That was deep. They see some Kearse in JPP (so do I), they are high on Brandon Graham (they should be) and if the DE they like isn't there the might draft Kyle Wilson (who is the highest rated CB).

So you say they spilled this to sway teams away from their true intentions. Hmmm. You mean they might take....Griffen, Thomas... which doesn't mean squat to other teams.

Believe me, no other teams give a rats what the Titans think (which is my whole point) and they certainly aren't going to get excited at rhetoric you can find on any mock draft site. Maybe the Titans are playing some kind of game, maybe they aren't. Who cares? If I'm the Jags, Colts or Texans I sure aren't going to make any draft decisions based on what Banks just quoted. That is my point.

They can smoke screen until they get lung cancer it makes no difference.

Dunlap is the best DE prospect bar none. He can play any position on our D-line and has a crazy combination of size and speed.

For the titans to seem interested in almost every other DE means they are either stupid or are expecting to draft him.

Dunlap is the kind of guy teams will feel they have to double team and Dunlap is the guy with the athletic ability to be a scary player.

Washburn has to be drooling all over himself just thinking about having a guy like Carlos Dunlap. JPP is like Dunlap light.

I agree with you 100 percent. I think Dunlap might be the real apple of our eye. Check out my thread 'Titans Draft Picks.'
I think the strategy will be to trade down; pick up an offensive talent in the first and with the second we obtain, pick up Dunlap. If we reacquire Haynesworth, get a receiver like Tate, and get Dunlap motivated....SUPERBOWL here we come!
I would be remiss to neglect Bongo's input in my current line of reasoning. Before the thread he posted got deleted he mentioned that DE high on the draft board were JPP, Graham, Griffen, and Dunlap. The fact that after that the Titans leaked their profound interest in JPP and Graham makes me believe they are not targeting them at all.

If we want Dunlap we have to take him at 16. The ravens might take him at 18.

Trevor Price has been a starter at DE for them for the last 4 years and he will be 35 in august. Dunlap would be a great replacement.

Of course they probably also covet Odrick and Price and maybe Houston. They need and want a guy who can get upfield and rush the passer as a 3-4 end..

Dunlap won't fall into the second. I'd be shocked if we picked up any WR in the 1st round. Actually, I'd be shocked if we took any offensive player in the 1st. Also, if we make a deal for Big Al I'd prefer to go CB in the 1st. He would help our D-line enough to let us focus on improving the secondary.

    Completely agree.

According to luvyablue23 all we have to do is make a leak that Dunlap is a worthless pile of gator crap and all the other teams will re-adjust their boards. After all they are listening because when the Titans speak people listen.
We apparently are the EF Hutton of football drafts.

lololol EF hutton? I haven't heard that in a lonnng time. I think there is a chance Dunlap falls to the second; alot of teams are worried about his half motor. I have seen him projected in some mocks in the 50s.
And that's not exactly what I said. But since we're talking about the Raiders and Jaguars, maybe they should listen to us based on their record at drafting first rounders. Or have they been listening the whole time???
Maybe we should get our plant in the tennessean to go on record and write a bad article about Dunlap; we'd be set good idea Soxcat:wink2:

If we take this guy with proven DEs like Graham on the board, I'm going to slit my wrists.

No one is proven before they enter the NFL.

I have it on good authority (I was sitting on the pot thinking about it) that all this is a smoke screen to take Dez Bryant and finally end all the need for a legit WR in our system.

Or it could be the JalapeƱo sausage Kolaches I ate speaking to me.

I think your going to see a run on both OT and DT in this draft leaving many more options at DE available for us.
