Yeah. You tell yourself he's the best DE in the draft here in a couple years when guys like Graham are blowing QBs up and flooding highlight reels while Morgan is holding his blocker up.

If you're going to simply draft the "safe" pick- trade down and get value. Morgan will be mediocre and he isn't an instant upgrade from anything we have. Actually- he may even stunt the growth on the D-line.

Could have traded down and got a solid impact player like Kyle Wilson, Jerry Hughes, etc. But nope... we spent our only pick of the first 2 rounds on a guy that's already at his ceiling.

    Michael Johnson part 2.

Double post. Sorry. The board's server is obviously going nuts.

We'll see. I'll probably never live my CJ comments down after we drafted him.

I just don't see where he fits in. I know Fisher likes guys that are good vs the run, but we need pass rushers. We don't have the secondary to draft a guy that's just going to be solid in run defense.

They basically just looked to Mel Kiper for the nod, and got it. So they ran up there without thinking.

Bitter Michigan fan, Graham was gone, deal with it, I had Morgan as the better pick as did a lot of other people. Many people, me included think Graham has peaked in college and won't get better in the NFL. He not Morgan was the safe pick, you know what you get with him and it will be a solid guy who will play for a lot of years but won't be a pro bowl player like you think he will be.

Morgan on the other hand has sky-is-the-limit potential and he is coming in with just as much ability to start as Graham has.

IMO this draft has worked out almost Perfect for the Titans, about the only way it was better is if Suh had dropped to us.

I guess we can't get mad at the FO for getting Morgan, being that JPP and Graham were off the board.

Every year there is a team that surprises us and picks a player we really want. I wanted Graham and the damn Eagles (who i thought were taking Earl Thomas) snagged him.

All i'm going to say is that i live in Georgia and watched alot of Georgia Tech games, and i would say to myself "Why does everyone think Morgan's a 1st rounder". He doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, but you don't need to stick out to be a star.

Since Graham WAS gone... why would I be bitter? It's not as if we picked Morgan over Graham. No one would be that stupid.

But as a GEORGIA TECH FAN (since I'm so bias and all...and that is my 2nd favorite college team) Derrick Morgan is Michael Johnson part 2.

You know... Michael Johnson? The same guy I was would be mediocre last year?

I can analyze. My team or not.

I don't really get the comparison to Michael Johnson. There are some big differences between the two players.
