Shipley in Cinci is going to be brutal. He is going to make a lot of teams really pissed off every time he moves the chains. He isn't the biggest or fastest but I haven't seen a guy who could run better routes and catch as well as him since that kid from Pitt that went to Arizona?

I personally think he has (insert white guy joke here) Steve Largent skills.

I hope Williams pans out for us, I know Shipley would have been great for us.

You basically just said that Jordan Shipley is the best WR since Larry Fitzgerald???

    Sorry. That is false.

No I said he runs better routes and has the best hands. I can tell reading comprehension skills aren't too big with you.

There have been a few DBs drafted in rounds 1, 2, and 3 he made look real bad during his career. He sure didn't do it with his speed.

The guy right now runs better routes than most NFL receivers, and like I said, in other posts. If the ball is thrown any where near him, he is going to catch it.

Is he as good as Larry Fitzgerald? Hell no, but I would say he is going to be better than Wes Welker at what Wes does best.

I wanted Shipley more to fill the void at kick/punt returner. Probably wouldn't bust any big ones in the NFL but can field them and make positive plays consistently but Williams was still there and we already have some solid WRs now. As for calling Shipley one of the best WRs you've seen... I really don't know what to tell you.

Lol... But you still compared him to Larry Fitzgerald. That is impossible. Anyways, I get your point.

Williams was a grade A ! pick and Shipley will only be at the pro bowl if he pays for a ticket.

First off, Shipley is good. Far from Fitzgerald good, but very productive and accomplished. The reason I think the Titans passed him by was because with Dam you kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Dam can come in and immediately get going offensively and on special teams. Since Shipley is only as good as the routes he's running, he'd waste away in Tennessee. You could run the crispest routes, and draw them out on the field, but Vince will still throw a pass you have to adjust to. Dam Williams also gives you an additional three years being that he's much younger than Shipley. Dam also likes to fight for the YAC, which makes him the better fit to be a Titan. Back to Shipley being 25 as a rookie; by a WR's 25th birthday he's usually only gonna be that good. Since Shipley is now that age, maybe the team felt he's topped off and can't improve.
