All of my PODs got drafted...........none by TN. This yr I had three PODs taken in two and one made it to one.

The winners........Det Baltimore Car Indy and Jax.

The best need/value draft..........TN.........not even close.

The best first round pick is between NYJ,Indy and Jax. This kid from Jax is going to shock some of you..........he is that good. He was a POD but I had him going to NE or Indy. I also really thought Jerry Hughes was a great fit. They took one of my POD DB from USC too. He projects to safety in a tampa two and I bet that pick spells the end for Sanders........soon. Kyle Wilson will be the best CB in this draft............so fluid and so physical and a total ballhawk.............he reminds me of Lester Hayes..........I loved that pick and the value is ridiculous.

The best player the Titans drafted long term..........Rennie Curran. Absolutely love the fact that TN finally stopped drafting their typical OLB...........this kid could make the draft and I would bet he plays yr one. His attitude is off the charts and I know several teams would tried to trade up to get him.

The guy who will play right away is Williams as KOR and PR...........The best thing about him is he is very polished. He is not a burner but he is going to make a living in the slot............his hands remind me alot of Reggie Wayne..............but his biggest asset is fluidity...........reminds me a ton of Al Toon..............But he wont play WR until they do something with Gage.

I think both Safeties probably got my attention the most because they totally break the mold of what TN selects. I think both could make the roster and I seriously think the Utah S is a clone of how Darren Sharper plays.....total bal hawk. Myron Rolle has a serious chance to unseat Nickey regardless of his new deal.............Rolle is the kind of kid that will make it hard to cut him because he is smart and sound and surprisingly athletic and knows how to play angles............something Nickey is clueless about. I think the biggest chance for a vet cut now is Hope............if the two rookie S play well in the first three preseason games..........just watch...........I will say it now...........Hope could be a camp cut.

Not taking any OL says a ton...........Look for Harris to light it up and I think its a lock that Mawae is back. Samething with KB..........I still see him in TN Det or NO..........soon. Somebody has to take a chance because he is still so good.

The kid from Montana is a very solid ST pick. When you consider that TN has draft a ton of fast WR with no results...........this kid ran a 4.39 and 4.443 at his proday and is very very quick laterally...........he to me has more upside than a kid like Shipley who I think will flop in Cin...........I see PS for him because WR is loaded now..........but I think The PW and LH experiments are over.

The most interesting pick.........the CB. He does not fit TN scheme at all but he is the exact carbon copy of Rashean Mathis. Ran the same times and is an angle player with very fluid hips who seeks the ball...........only issue with him and why I am bit surprised TN took him is he is not strong and is not a great tackler...........but he is a very talented player..........this tells me that TN Hood and Hill are going to face a very uphill grind...........Infact TN DB situaation is unreal good right now...........

The Kid from the Ivy league.........like him. Again not a TN type.........but is so strong at the point of attack .........kinda like Jow Salevea...........work with him a few yrs and may be surpised what he becomes. Another PS player........

Love the QB pick.........great developmental pick has a big arm..........I think Simms could be in trouble. This is Dinger PS guy.

I also thought targeting Stafon Johnson was brilliant..........kid needs time to get back together but the adversity he is coming back from is amazing. He has day one talent.........and they got him for 10K. And the kid knows he has a chance to stick cause of the RB numbers...........his agent was awfully smart. He'll never be active but this is a pick for 2011.

This draft to me..........has to be all MR...........totally broke all TN trends...........they went for different athletes than they usually do and I have to say that alone may signal something.............I really liked their draft.........infact it is one of my favorite drafts since they got to TN.............

The one pick I dont like is Morgan.........I think he will turn out to be avg. He is not a Wash type and he is not going to excel in Wash system...........he is very good at the point of attack but he is not explosive. He will stop the run........no doubt...........but you dont draft a guy at 16 to stop the run at DE............they should have moved out or made the Dez pick. They will rue the day passing on him just like they did with Moss............very rarely does a top 5 WR fall to 16-20...........the only two I can think of were Randy and Dez.

2010.............is all about VY and CJ..............I got my popcorn ready.

you cant say who will be awesome and who will be a bust.

all these players are unpredictable, over half of the top named talent taking in the 1st 2 rounds will prob never mount to anything. it's a wait and see type of thing. for all we know Derrick Morgan is a bust, but David Howard could be the next Haynesworth for us.

you never know. the Draft is a Gamble.

yeah I can..........i am pretty good on the draft picks. And especially good on calling TN picks. This draft they had surprised me because they broke trends and ranks...........tells me MR is flexing.

I think you have to wait about three yrs to see if I am right but I been calling this stuff for 15 yrs and very few of the guys I tell you are gonna be good turn out to be turds...........and I have a real good draft record on my PODs...........and this yr my PODs went higher than ever before.

Morgan is their KVB replacement, but he's a MUCH better pass rusher than you are giving him credit for, bongo. This kid got double teamed all over the place in college, and he still got his sacks. Some of the better OLs shut him down a bit, but you can do that when you concentrate on one player. He didn't get a lot of help on that line. He'll play from a different split in TN too, which should help him out. Still, I think Hayes is now our main pass rusher, and Morgan is our stout at the POA guy, with pass rushing upside. He's still improving. He didn't start all of his years at GT because of the talent ahead of him. His best years should be ahead of him as a result. He's already quite polished, but he still has room to improve. Washburn will make this guy a star.

I'm not kidding when I say that Morgan could be like Strahan.

I think Bongo is might be right on Morgan. He was a very safe pick and won't bust. But he may not be as good as Odom as a pass rusher. He will get the best coaching and he does have some athletic skills. If he can develop some pass rush moves and work on having a good first step he might surprise. At least he will be an improvement on what we had and at worst he plays a couple of downs and gives way to Ford.

OK, but he already has puss rushing moves. He has an inside move; he has a spin move. He's good with his hands. I just think you guys are underrating him as a pass rusher. Still, I'm not saying he'll be our main pass rusher. I think that will be Hayes (or maybe Ford). But he will be stout on the other side, and he still has upside in pass rush, IMO.

Good to hear about the Secondary in general. Hopefully these 2 new guys come in and light a fire under Hope and Griffin, who BTW is the new Lamont Thompson.....the longer his hair gets, the worse of a player he becomes. There it is, I said it, get a gotdamn haircut!!

Pretty good analysis Bongo. I don't mind Morgan at all, I can get behind the pick based on where we selected him. I take some solace in the fact that Washburn is our D-line coach, I know Wash will get the best out of him. That said, I would have preferred we trade out of that spot to pick up additional picks. We still could have probably landed Jerry Hughes trading back some.

I'm starting to like the Williams pick, at first I didn't, but after watching his videos and reading about him I'm beginning to really like this pick.

The other thing I hated was the Rusty Smith pick, I just can't get behind that decision. He should have been taken with our 7th comp and with Dan LaFeavour still on the board ... ouch.

I'm mildly annoyed with picking the Montana receiver with Dorin Dickerson on the board but time will tell if we'll regret not taking him... we'll have to face him twice a year now.

All in all, this looks like a very solid draft with character given a high priority which I really support. It seems like all of our positions of need were addressed pretty well. I thought we'd take two safeties and a least one corner before the draft began, I'm happy to see we hit those needs.

I'm down with our draft class this year, seems like we got some great players, filled needs, trimmed some phat(LW, KV etc.). I thought the coming season would be disastrous for us defensively, given the loss of talent KVB, KB etc, but now at least I'm hopefully that some of our rookies can smack some people in the face at the very least and keep it close for vy, cj, kb and he went to jared to put some points up on the board.
