IMO, the mark of a good CB is pass breakups, more so than interceptions. Fisher and Reinfeldt seemed really high on him. He'll put in the film work.

Seriously? So Chris Henry, Paul Williams, Andre Woolfolk, etc were all the "best decisions", huh?

    Interesting.

I'll reserve judgment on this pick until I see him on the field in a few years.

He has a chance to develop into a starter. That is all you can ask in the 4th round.
He isn't going to be out worked, has no character issues and is extremely smart (math major). He was also durable and productive. He was the guy they saw fitting our zone scheme and he looks like he would be very effective from what I saw. He has adequate speed but isn't a burner.

His workout numbers are almost identical to Hayden (Verner's shuttle is actually a little better). Hayden is 5'11, 193 and they talk like that guy is the second coming. This kid is 5'10 189 and he is to small? I agree he isn't a physical dynamo but we have had those before. Those guys usually spend quite a bit of time chasing after WRs who have juked their arse off. This kid has instincts and great read and react ability. That is what we want.

Well I for one am glad to see my favorite team is drafting NERDS over football players. Is Erkel still young enough; he could be our answer at LB. I can vouch that he has no character concerns.

Nerds over football players? What are you talking about? This guy made a ton of plays. There is no rule that says you can't be both smart and athletic. A lot of the best football players are both. When you judge this kid on the field, he looks really exciting. He breaks up a lot of passes, and a lot of teams stayed away from him in games. He's really good and has some return potential, even though he didn't do it in college, really (in games, I mean).

Yeah just ask UVATitan how great a football team full of smart guys is. This is a great pick regardless in this case, however.
