I disagree. In our offense I really don't think we need another star WR if Williams can hold his own. We neede 3 solid recievers who run excellent routes, can get open, and have hands like glue. We're a running team and just need our recievers to come open and make catches when we need them to...not necessarily carry the offense.

If Williams pans out, and Hawk and Cook step up our offense will be set.

If we can get pressure on the QB this year and really be disruptive upfront this year I think we can play with anybody.

I agree. And with VY sharpening his game up we should see a lot improvement in the passing game too.

This pick for Morgan will prove to be special I think. Rarely do good teams like us get such a good player. Face it people, we honestly had no business picking at 16. This time last year you'd have slapped someone telling you the Titans wouldn't make the playoffs. A top shelf guy like Morgan coupled with our bunch looks very promising. To a lot of football people Morgan was a top 4 prospect coming into the draft. We know it was a steal getting him that late, I'm pumped to see this guy in action in the next few months.

You're right. We should have picked in the top 5.

Nice video. Those were some killer Joe Thomas highlights.

I hope Morgan can be a difference maker on D this year, we certainly need one.

Yeah I disagree with that too. The bust rate for first round DL and WR is about the same and everyone will agree we have one of the best coaches in the business. That being the case, and with the draft as deep as it was, we could have theoretically waited until the third round to draft DL.
If Bryant goes on to have a stellar career and his career is better than Morgan's then yeah it is crazy that we passed on him. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see Morgan being a complete stud, which is what we're supposed to draft when we're fortunate enough to draft that high. I do think Bryant will be a stud.

That's the problem CJ; we don't have 3 solid receivers who run excellent routes, can get open, and have HANDS LIKE GLUE. Hawk has been languishing on the sidelines which means the coaches don't have confidence in him for whatever reason, Cookie can't block, and well Nate, no comment. Here's hoping to Damian Williams having a career like Derrick Mason's; without the wait to crack the starters. We don't need a star but we need someone who is reliable and our track record at drafting WR's in the middle rounds to find someone reliable is not that solid.
