Titans arent taking CJ serious unless he misses mandatory camp. right now they just dont find it serious enough to do something.

I don't see why we can't just give him a big bonus this year and then give him a new contract next year. We're already really hampered by the 30% rule and I'm sure we really don't want to give him a new contract with the amount of guaranteed money we'd have to put in one this year.

I say just give him what we would give a RB being franchiesed this year in bonus (which would be around $8.2M, an average of the top 5 salaries at that position) and then work on the long term contract next year.

I couldn't see a guy gettin too upset about bein payed $8M for a year and then bein promised a new contract when the conditions are better? But ya never know.

I think he'd "lose a step" only because he'd find it hard to run the way he does behind most o-lines in the NFL.

I don't think he realizes what the best run blocking oline in the NFL really does for him. He may learn someday though.

All i know is that Chris Johnson will be the starting RB when we open the season up against the Raiders, no if, ands or buts...

C.J. needs a raise. He can't even afford a bed, poor guy. I'll tweet him to see if he wants my blowup mattress. And he's homeless, don't forget that.

CJ knows he's treading in choppy waters he's not gonna risk fines, having to pay back bonus money, or worse yet get benched to be taught a lesson and Fisher would do it with a clear conscious.

Hell he was more than willing to ride out last year with Collins at QB because he was still PO'd at VY for the comments he made about not wanting to play for Tennessee after his meltdown; and since Bud Adams' money is on the line here Bud's not gonna run to the Tennessean and force Fisher's hand in putting CJ back in the line-up if it ever came to that.
