I think that all of us get a sick feeling in our stomach when we think about the 08 playoff loss. We win that game we roll Pittsburgh again and beat Arizona for the Super Bowl.

    Some happier thoughts

    1. Music City Miracle
    2. DelGreco's 50+ yard field goal as time expired to beat Philly in Philly(I was there
    3. VY and PacMan bringin us back from 21-0 in the 4th quarter to beat the Giants.
    4. Eddie stiff arming the hell out of "Ray Ray" in the playoffs when we beat them at their place
    5. VY taking us 99 yards this year against Arizona

I'm 27 and i remember the Bills comeback game, but if i recall, we wasn't a favorite to go all the way.

The 2000 and 2008 Raven losses were as bad as they get, because of the simple fact that if we beat Baltimore, more than likely we were going to the SB.

So i honestly look at those 2 losses as SB blocks.

Is it just me, or have all of our "worst games" involved monumental fumbles? Shouldn't we be putting gorilla glue on our guys gloves before the playoff games start?

Both playoff losses to the Ravens. The 2008 seems to hurt more probably because it's the freshest wound.

This wins hands down. I can still remember going to watch the at a bar in So Cal that day, it was pretty cold that morning and I had my Oilers parka on. As usual I was the only Oilers fan at the whole, packed, bar but I felt so proud as we just dismantled the Bills that day. I went home to finish watching this laugher of a game. By the time I got home the comeback was on in full force. I still remember the refs really blowing a couple calls like when Don Bebe or Tasker, can't remember which white guy ran two full steps out of bounds then comes back in bounds to make the long TD catch. I also remember in OT, it was like a 3rd and 5 around mid field when moon tried to hit Givens in the left flat but was tackled before the ball got there by the LB and no flag.

Come to think about it, for me, it may have been the year after when we lost to Mr. Ed Elway in Denver blowing a 20 point lead. After they hit that FG I punched my TV so hard I knocked the buttons through to the inside of the TV :).

Denver was the year before . . . man was that ty. And you are right about the terrible calls in Buffalo . . . but even with them, how do you give up a 3rd quarter 32 point lead . . . MFer . . .

The next year losing to the Cheifs after winning 11 in a row was also a ball breaker!

Ive watched the game atleast 5-6 times. It seems as if the referees were blatantly getting the calls wrong. Makes me think that someone influenced the game illegally. I understand they dont have the rules or technology we have today, but some of those calls were plain as day. I can't decide if my perception is a result of the watered down NFL or if the refs really were in kahoots with the mob or the bills... In hindsight, the Music City miracle game was the proper karma.

I'd say it is the watered down NFL. It was a lot different back then.

Boy, early 90s sucked to be an Oilers fan.

first - it WAS a lateral so no karma needed.

second - I was not an Oilers fan but I watched that game on TV and one of the big TDs Reich was clearly beyond the LoS and no flag, besides that if Houston had a run game at all, or even pretended they had one, they coast to a win.

My top 3 all time worst memories as an Oiler/Titan fan.

    1. 93 Bills vs Oilers - up 34 - 3 at half time only to lose.
    2. 94 Chiefs vs Oilers - Oilers started season 1-4 and ended it 12-4 and then lose to the Chiefs in the 2nd round.
    3. 79 Oilers vs Steelers - Mike Renfro caught that damn touchdown pass.
