Hey everyone, logging in today was something that has taken some strong will and patience. I woke up early this morning to get a call from my little brother that some guys falsely identified him as someone else and jumped him. Obviously I'm pissed. My first reaction was to shoot over to where he was and have him take me to the scene and hope that unlucky punk was still there. However my little bro called me hours after the fact, so much for me busting some teenagers up early in the a.m.. Well the smart thing would be NOT to hunt them down so soon after the fact. But my emotions are on fire, I want this guys head over my fire place. Writing things out and coming back to them will help me make the best choice in this. When the police find this kid bleeding behind a dumpster somewhere I don't want my brother being suspect #1, but these dumb kids think he was someone else all together... Any tips guys?????

If you are going to commit a crime and assault someone else(revenge or not) don't document what you are going to do in a public online forum. That's my best advice.

Karma will catch up with these goons. I was jumped by 4 guys in high school and robbed. What could I do? Nothing at the time. I knew who they were and where to find them.. Flash forward 8 years...I'm a free man and the main dude who attacked me is in prison for Grand Larceny. Who has the last laugh? Hope he doesn't drop the soap around Bubba

What comes around goes around my friend. Remember, the police don't think too much of vigilantee-ism. The best thing you can do is call the police and file a report as lame as that sounds.

I'm not a snitch so I won't be calling the cops. But I'm not gonna go looking for these thugs either. Not today anyways, I'm too emotional and not thinking the best way right now. If I go out and do find them I might set myself up for worse things down the road. Unless these dudes are strapped they're f-ed. And that's what concerns me, is if they're carrying weapons. They did put a knife to my brother and threatened to hurt him if he didn't run his pockets. But they don't know who he really is. They're thinking he is someone else, which plays into our favor. These guys need to be thought a lesson, and I'll gladly teach them one.

    :stupid:

Yes, being snitch is so much worse than being a criminal and commiting the same type of crime that was committed against your brother. Stupidity like this contributes to the amount of crimes commited every day. So you go take your revenge, then they will seek revenge for your revenge, and it will all end with someones loved one being hurt or killed. Swallow your pride and call the cops.

When you let your emotions get the best of you, you've already lost the fight without throwing or taking a punch.

Got to agree with the logic above, don't commit a crime, call the police. You aren't in the school yard anymore. You've got a kid, if I remember correctly. Don't risk spending time in jail yourself, or doing something that escalates out of your control. You get stabbed and your kid doesn't have a father. Not worth it.

Give the cops the opportunity to handle it. If they don't in a way which satisfies you, then do what you gotta do.

I don't condone violence but there are a ton of ways to get back at someone without it being physical.

Appreciate the responses guys, and just the fact that I used the word "etiquette" probably means I could 1-up these fools using some brain power. It's frustrating thou, I've never been bullied or robbed. No reason my little brother has to go through that when I'm around. I don't know who these guys are either, so running up on them likely wont resolve much. But I just know they wouldn't have pulled that stuff if he wasn't alone. I wish I was there to save the day, cause I know how to get down if you catch my drift. Well putting it down in words is relieving some frustration, but I'm soooo ready to kill these guys. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
