Madden 2011

I really don't know. Maybe simply because they are higher profile players than Hood? I'm not trying to take up for EA. There really doesn't seem to be much of a method to their madness sometimes. I just highly doubt it's an any kind of anti-Titans conspiracy.

True, but many people outside of Tennessee would argue that we REALLY DO HAVE one of the worst group of corners in the league. Again, outside of Finny what has anyone else on our roster done to warrant a 70+ rating in the game? Tye Hill has 5 picks in 4 seasons. Mouton and McCourty inspired very little confidence last season. Verner is an unproven rookie, and a 4th round pick at that. These are 60-something Madden rating guys if I've ever seen one. Don't get me wrong, I really hope/believe at least one or two of them will prove otherwise this season. But for now, they are looked at as scrubs by the general football fan. And I honestly can't blame them.

I just don't see the point in boosting a player's rating unjustifiably. That would take away even more realism from the game. What about a team like the Bills, who have a crappy receiver group. Lee Evans is an 84 but their next highest rated receiver is Roscoe Parrish, who is a 64. Should he get bumped up to a 70+ rating even though he only has 24 catches and 1 TD over the past two seasons?

If your receivers suck in real life, they should suck in the game, If your secondary sucks in real life, they should suck in the game. And the sad fact is that we were 31st in the league in passing yards allowed last season.

EDIT: I should say I rarely play online. Most of my time is spent on franchise. So I can understand why it'd be frustrating to keep getting burned with your favorite team online. But since I play franchise I actually welcome the team deficiencies. It makes the offseason much more fun because there are actually areas that legitimately need upgrading via draft/FA. When you have an already stacked team in franchise mode it kinda sucks.

 

Does anybody know if u can increase players attributes in franchise by putting them through drills like in every other madden or do I have to buy that 10 dollar dlc to do it

 

EA Sports and quality testing. They don't do it.

It's funny because EA Games/Partners are pretty damn good at it.

 

You talking about the training camp drills? Nope. Pretty sure you couldn't do that last year either. I really miss that. I'm not sure if it's available via DLC or not.

 

The last one I bought was 09 and it had it and what happened to the madden IQ did they drop that last year also.The franchise mode is pretty boring if I can't gameplan or make my players better.I looked at the details of the 800 point dlc pack for madden 11 and they want u to spend real money to buy fake coins to make a video character better that's bs.It's bad enough I couldn't buy the game used like I usually do just so I can play online now ea has found another way to nickel and dime me.oh well I guess ill just download the new roster for NFL2k5

 

It's got the best franchise I've ever played on a football game and u can still update the roster and schedule every year the only thing that's outdated ate the graphics other than that it does a lot of things that madden can't seem to get right ea needs to hire the people that made that game and start from scratch
Don't get me wrong the new maddens gameplay is good and I love how u can actually run the football and see your holes opening up
But this franchise is garbage.all this game is good for is to play people one on one and to me that wasn't worth my 65 dollars

And in case u didn't know if u feel like spending 20 or 30 dollars more u can actually make the Titans defense better by buying coins and upgrading stats for online play but who in they right mind would do that
