Roos has been shockingly bad...Getting beat by average guys. I just don't know how to pass that off as "just the preseason". Is he trying less because it's the preseason..

I'm not worried at all about C.J.'s lack of stats in August.

Very true and really all the 1st team guys have been playing poorly. We can talk about it being pre-season and certainly adding a little more sophistication might help but I'm seeing guys manhandled up front. That concerns me and remember we have a new OC and OG. Amano in particular has to make the right calls up front. We have seen RBs stone walled, OL guys getting dominated and the protection on passing plays hasn't been very good either. I'm not ready to panic but if this carries over into the regular season it will be tough, especially for Young who despite his mobility really struggles with pressure.

Thats not true. You have to remember Raiders were missing a big clog in their middle of their defense the last two weeks(Richard Seymour) Raiders defense is totally diffrent with him playing next to Tom Kelly. Teams can't double team both players and whoever they elect to single block, is in big trouble.

Also If you watch the tape you see Safety M Huff in position to make a tackle to severly limited that big play. He hasn't made it. Thats not M huff strength - run defense . Raiders have too much at safety and I wouldn't expect for the Titans to see him on the run downs. Huff speciality is defending against the pass( Thats when you will see Huff)

So do the math . Richard Seymour(less trafic their Lbs see)+ FS thats better than Huff in supporting aginst the run = wouldn't count on Titans have as much sucess as your counting on in the running game.

Btw If M roos not healthy hes going to have trouble against Matt Shaughnessy and K wimbley(who moves to De on the passing downs)

^I don't think you realize C.J. takes an inch, and stretches it a mile. He's literally too fast for - "sorry out of position Raider players". Jibber jabber your lips and keep justifying why your team sucks, but at the end of the day week-1, I wouldn't be at all surprised if C.J. has 250 yards or better. When Vince plays, C.J. guarantees 100+ yards. And dbc, thats even against the Chargers, and Dolphins, who most would say are contending winning teams. And thats with Vine coming off the bench mid season. If I was a Raider fan, I'd be absolutely terrified to see the VY/CJ combo with a full training camp to get it going.

We need Mawae. We currently don't have a replacement.

He was the quarterback of our offense (who else? lol).

Yeah, we need some experienced backup. I'm not high on either Velasco or Kropog.

Im concerned about CJ's run game.
CJ -19 atts, 39 yards, 2.1 avg this preseason
Ringer had only 6 more atts and he had 165! 6.6 avg.
