Another example huh... Naw i know my thanks tho. And ok so if Cutler was here you honestly think he'd do better then Young has with us? Cutler is overrated point blank, hes not a elite QB, had 26 ints last yr and yes had 27 TDs but over 20 ints is insane. Had 18 the year before. Am i saying Young is better as a passer? No. Cutler CAN throw but hes way too inconstient, and yes hes had two good games this yr but i give it another 2 - 3 games before we see him throw ints like crazy. I would not want Cutler on the Titans is wut im saying.

I think they mean for the future bruh, and dont knock em i got to hang with em a bit when i was visiting FAU for their football recruiting. I was pose to work out for em but i broke my wrist n ankle and that fell out. Rusty got a arm point blank and hes a cool guy. Attitude aint nothing to worry on him hes a team player something that would be nice and playing from a small school, hes gunna try as hard as he can to impress the coaches. Im looking forward to seeing em play if he ever does.

    Lol!

Quite amusing. I see no rushing stats listed. I guess those yards and TD's don't count, huh?

More importantly, being ABLE to win with Collins or VY is not about the stats. Collins was leading us to a win vs the Ravens before CJ got hurt and we kept fumbling the ball. Wasn't Collins good enough for us to win that game? He was. VY has the ability to do so as well having beaten teams that have gone to the playoffs or even the Super Bowl. Our offense is not a pass happy offense requiring a Peyton Manning to function. So we don't need to have the best passing QB in the league. The team is built around a strong defense and a strong running game. A lot of ppl though the same of McNair early in his career as well. And didn't we go to the Super Bowl with him? Didn't he win a league MVP?

I can't remember the game but IIRC McMVP took himself out of a game, seems like it was against the Bengals, and Kreig came in for him. Appologies if I am mistaken.

Brett Favre had over 20 ints in 6 seasons.

Cutler has a 121 passing rating so far this year so maybe he is hitting his stride.

Personally i think Cutler would be great in Dinger's offense but Dinger wasn't the OC when we drafted in 06.

That's not to say i'm down on Vince i'm not but our success is reliant on him being solid in almost every game.

Idiotic to bash Vince and also Jeff fisher because if you think Vince sucks how then can you expect Fisher to win with him?

You're stats are worthless without context.

How did our defence rank in those games?
How did the Offences that ewe faced in those games rank?

You can manipulate any stat to fit you're argument if you choose not to look at the whole picture.

I support VY, but I don't think of myself as an apologist. I just call 'em like I see 'em.

There's no question that Vince has pretty much stunk against upper-echelon defenses....and not surprisingly, this is now the biggest criticism of his game. When facing the league's best defenses, he has performed poorly. No argument there. And not surprisingly, this is now the most common criticism of his game.

But this was not always the case.

In his first couple years, he was widely criticized for his funky sidearm delivery, which (supposedly) made it impossible for him to throw with any kind of accuracy or consistency. But since that time, his completion percentage has stayed around 60%, while his YPA has steadily increased year after year. This clearly indicates that his accuracy has, in fact, improved dramatically, thus rendering that argument invalid.

Forced to find a new argument, the critics then attacked his emotional stability and work ethic, and pointed to his meltdown in 2008 as proof that he would never succeed in the NFL. Many predicted that he'd never play another down in the NFL. But that year on the bench forced him to re-evaluate his approach to the game and life in general, and we're now seeing a more mature and more dedicated player than the one who went to pieces two years ago. After coming back and re-asserting himself as the team's starting QB, the whole meltdown of '08 is little more than a footnote in his career.

Once again forced to find a new argument, Vince's critics have now latched onto his poor performance against top-level competition. Is there validity to the argument? Absolutely. But then again, all those previous arguments seemed perfectly valid at the time they were made....but one by one, those arguments have been rendered moot.

It remains to be see whether Vince will find a way to be productive against the league's elite defenses. But considering the manner in which he has consistently struck down the various criticisms in years past, I certainly wouldn't bet against it.

Hopefully by this time next year, his critics will once again be forced to abandon a once-infallible argument, and find a new and different reason to dislike the guy.
