The NYG were the only real offense faced so far. They had enough big gains to worry me about the D. The Giants had over 475 yds of total offense....that doesn't worry anyone else? And as many suspect, the offense needs more balance to really play with the elite teams. Putting KC in the game isn't the way to develope balance. The Titans had more balance in the second half with a couple of good scoring drives. I hope Dinger has learned something from the last game. CJ2K didn't rip one for 42 yards until after VY started completing more passes. This team will need some lucky breaks to get to 5 wins after 8 games. There will be more than 3 teams with more wins than that.

 

Yards mean squat when you can't score! Sure it makes our defense look statistically average. Stats can be sqewed by garbage time at the end of lopsided games. But if the D keeps em out of the endzone I'm alright with it. The thing that worries me so far this season is our offense (like every season). It always seems that when our defense makes big stops we can't capitalize and go three and out or get a feild goal even when we start in the red zone or or just outside of it. Now that is concerning.
