    Play action bomb to cook would be so legit

    the quik pitch would be devestating

    cj and cook in the slots with Britt and d Williams outside would be undefendable

    also vick would be on this team at any cost by Monday
    night and id let him heal up and learn the Offense

    There is the problem right there because you think that normal nfl offense is trying to trick the opposition every play. Most of what offense is in the nfl is execution, blocking and making the right decision running and passing.


    You have to establish things before trick plays work and a basic running play like a toss, blast or trap is integral to all winning football.

    I love the simplistic approach with Jared cook. Just send him deep. Real creative!

    Your offense would suck..

    4 of 8 plays are runs. Too conservative!

    How do we run play action with nobody in the backfield? CJ is in the slot and you want to run play action?

    Last season..

    1-3 yards-50%

    4-7 yards 52%

    8+ yards 25%


    Isn't this a case for playing conservative on first or 2nd down or both? We have a QB who can get 5-6 yards with his legs but 9-10 yards is much harder. A 3rd and 6 has twice the chance of conversion vs a 3rd and 9.

    For Manning and the Colts the difference is less severe they convert on 57% of their 4-7 yard plays and 33% of their plays 8 yards or higher.

    So on 3rd and 4-7 we are almost as effective as the Colts but on 3rd and long they are 30% more effective than we are.
