I can not believe that we have finally made a major move to put ourselves into a position to win NOW and people are still complaining about it. It is a win win situation for us. VY and Collins both throw the deep ball very well, now we have someone to go and get it.

Scenario 1: He comes in and sets the world on fire. Leads us deep in the playoffs and maybe to the super bowl.

Scenario 2: He comes in puts up good numbers get us to to playoffs but not to the Super Bowl. By putting up good numbers with VY he shows that a true number 1 reciever can play in Tennessee and this will open the door up for other top recievers to stop blowing us off because we dont throw the ball and VY isnt good enough. If a VY Moss marriage can work then VY can work with anyone.

Scenario 3: He comes in is a servicable replacement for Britt until his is back from injury and we cut our ties at the end of the season.

I really think with Britt back and Moss on the other side the running lanes for CJ will open up. You can no longer put 8 or 9 in the box and play man to man on our outside recievers....

I was just dumbfounded when I got a message from a friend saying 'Randy Moss is going to Tennessee'. I thought it was the first line of a joke: 'Randy Moss is going to Tennessee to visit family' or 'Randy Moss is going to Tennessee to tell the Titans no', but then, on NFL.com. There it was.

To me, the most significant thing that sticks out in my head is that, in all my time as a Titans fan (so 2002 season onward), this is the single biggest signing we've ever made. Bar none. You just accept that, as a Titans fan, they're not going to splash out. We were never really in the running for any big name player before, remember when we were all frothing at the mouth for Torry Holt? I think the biggest signing the Titans had made before this was probably... Alge Crumpler. Wow.

Look, negatives be damned. I'm just excited as a fan, in a way I haven't been for ages. When we're used to umming and ahhing about decisions, we've just done the unthinkable. There was a big name out there, and we went out and got him. Done deal, signed and delivered.

So now Randy can go in the echelons of our proud franchise history for free agent WRs... Thigpen... Pickens... Givens... Oh shiiiiii-
Nah, just kidding. You can tell it won't happen this time, because the name Moss doesn't sound similar like all the others. I sometimes superstitiously thought that's why they all bombed...

    Dear Reindfelt, Fish, and Adams,

    ......THANK YOU!

I just hope this works out. We don't exactly have long this year, much less with his career. Vince or Kerry, how do we lose with this team?

I'm 99% sure I remember Wayne complaining about not TRADING for Moss, and now we get him for nothing and he complains? Wow.

what excites me most about this is to me it shows that bud is willing to do what it takes to see this team to a superbowl before he leaves. I'm willing to bet we will see more big signings this offseason than we ever have before if things don't work out this season.

Serious props to Fisher & Co. for making this move. I've been screaming for a legit #1 for a long time now and we finally got one!

Well obviously I haven't read all 18 pages but I'm guessing the general consensus is positive. I'm thrilled myself. My take on Moss has always been an idiot especially in Minnesota, he was lazy in Oakland but in New England he was not as much an idiot. But he's always been supremely talented. He can only help this team and I can't wait to see how he and Young gel and even more so I can't wait to see Moss and Britt. Man could the Titans actually have the best receiver tandem in the league? Who would have ever thought that? Hopefully we can implement him into the offense so that we fully utilize his abilities, also hope it helps Johnson play better. Basically we need to try and copy New Englands 07 offense just run more.

But yea I'm in total shock we got him. Never would have expected it, very Untennessee like. I'm sure it never would have happened without the Britt injury and or without basically ever player on the team asking for him.
