We do. He's riding pine behind Bo Scaife and Craig Stevens though.

Wouldn't it be funny to end up happy for the Chargers loss if this is what pushes the Titans to the next level? We can all send a box of chocolates to Antonio Gates.

once we get rid of Scaife he will at least move up to the #2 TE behind Stevens unless the Titans draft another TE :brow:

I know it's a cliche but I am going be cautiously optimistic about this whole thing with Moss. I was first on the negative bandwagon, but sitting back and thinking of it all leaves me to believe this could work out if and only if Moss can somehow morph himself back into the 23 touchdown Moss of 2007. Highly unlikely, but it is probable... only difference is Collins or VY is no Tom Brady.

Moss is going to automatically require a double team... no doubt about it. The field will be spread out and defenses will no longer stack 8 or 9 in the box against CJ, and everything will open up dramatically. CJ's wish for back to back 2K seasons may have just become a possiblility again, no matter how small it is... it's still a possibility.

My hope is that we don't get the Randy Moss that ran himself out of every NFL organization that has ever given his rotten a chance. He is a locker room cancer and eventually this could bite the Titans brass right in the back side, but here's to hoping it doesn't (but who am I kidding, right?!).

Apparently the Titans were the only team to make a claim for Moss, so it wouldn't have made any difference.

Point is would we have claimed him had we won the game? Britt going down really hurt our game plan. Now we got that covered and then some when Britt comes back.

that is what I heard also. If he cleared waivers then he would have been a FA. I think he could have been signed for less than what the Titans paid.

Besides the chances of Britt and Moss playing at the same time is slim to none. Per the Titans it will take him 4-6 weeks to heal. Wycheck on the morning radio show said it could take up to 2 months to heal. That puts you into Jan if it takes that long.

Riding the pine? Cook played significantly if you watched the game and he had one real good play and another that should have been a long gain.
Scaife didn't have a great game and didn't get that many looks anyway.

Also, from what I've seen of Stevens he deserves to be playing. He is the best TE we have. He is by far the best blocker (Cook sucks blocking and so does Scaife) and when he gets thrown the ball he has looked fast and powerful. I'd use Stevens as the regular starter because he looks like he is the real deal, a guy who can contribute catching the ball and actually throw a block as well. I'm really starting to like the guy. Cook still needs to improve his blocking but can be effective in special situaitons.

Trade Deadline is over. Just put him on waivers, im sure he'll clear. No team wants him. He's a cancer to message boards :ha:
