I think Moss realizes he better perform at this point. I expect Fisher to keep him on a leash. VY can throw the deep ball. If there is trouble, you can be sure that VY won't be the unprofessional one.

As a vy fan i say bring it on

Vince will finally get his chance to play with a premium receiver. No more excuses. If Moss complains to VY that will only help VY.

Five years later and we still have "Vince Lovers" and "Vince Haters". He's our quarterback, and if he continues to play the way he has this year that's not changing. Just accept it.

Funny, on 104.5 this morning they were saying exactly the opposite. VY has no problem with the deep ball, it's the short passes he struggles on. In fact, PK said that.

Funny how an "expert" who actually knows the team versus and "expert" that doesn't really follow the team say two different things...

I used to love Wilbon long ago, in my youth, but I saw this also and it made me so mad because unlike that uninformed yankee dork he works with, he says it in a way that makes it sound as though he is so certain and has researched what he is saying so thoroughly, when in reality he just glosses along on popular "common knowledge." At least with Korny-Hoser you know right away he doesn't know what he's saying, and seemingly doesn't try to persuade anyone otherwise.

I think your right but he is getting better. He had some nice short passes last game. I loved the play action near the goal line. He is really good on the deep passes, the 10-20 yard deep outs and most of the passes in the middle. He has really improved when he throws on the run. I'm really liking seeing the development. Just needs to work on the touch with the short throws which I think he has been doing judging by last game.

I strongly disagree with the OP. VY is my favorite player currently in the NFL, and I'm VERY excited about getting Moss. It's all I've been talking about. Oldguy here shares my thoughts:

The playaction near the goal line was an intermediate pass, probably a 30 foot throw in the air, even though it only went for two real yards. Think about the pass to CJ in the flat on the two point conversion.... 15 foot throw that sailed 3 feet over his head. That's what he needs work on. Start connecting on those and that 49% completion suddenly looks more like 60%.

What I am hoping to see is a humbled Moss. He can say what he wants and his agent can say what he wants; no top receiver is happy going to Tennessee. We are not known as a team that throws the ball. We are, however, the only team that put in a claim for him. He shouldn't expect to get targeted 10-15 times a game. If it happens, great, but he shouldn't expect it.

I figure he still had a sense of entitlement when he got traded to Minnesota, his old team. Here, he should only have a sense of "last chance". If we cut him, it may be until the middle of next season before another team even thinks about signing him again.

I do think it could end very ugly for him here. I also think we could see a motivated Randy Moss for the first time this season.
