Fisher alluded to other changes... I want to see changes at linebacker in sub packages. Tulloch and Witherspoon are simply not getting it done in coverage. It's time to give McRath a chance in the Nickel and Dime.

I think either today or tomorrow is the day they have to decide on Thornton. Maybe they will get him back involved.

The biggest winner this weekend was Chuck Cecil. People are too wrapped up in the VY/JF saga to remember that shoddy defense cost us the game.

I'm happy with rushing four and playing a mixture of coverages with the other seven, but when your entire secondary is at least 15yards off the line of scrimmage on every play, you get problems. Especially on third and 7 or less.

Schaub will have a monster game if things aren't corrected.

Up, the defense stinks again, I bet our running backs coach is prepping his resume since he will probably get fired like last off season. Cecil probably just bought a house and is "settling in".

That was pitiful. Chris Hope is not getting it done. Finnegan was lost yesterday. LBs aren't covering anyone. DEs are losing contain and not getting to the QB, either. And (like the Texans yesterday) we seemed shocked that a team marching down the field in the final seconds might want to throw to the sidelines.

Cecil dialed up the pressure all game - I regularly saw a S or CB blitzing, only to get stood up over and over again. Bad execution. Bad defensive calls. Slipping fundamentals again. One ugly week is on the players. 2 is players and coaches. 3 in a row is on the coaches. To me it looks like the team isn't buying into what the coaches are selling. Not sure what happened all of a sudden, but we know these guys can play.

I'll be tempted to start Schaub over Brees next Sunday in my league. He might pass for 500 yards.

IMO, this 0-3 stretch is 85% on the defense. Losing Jason Jones early yesterday was killer. Babin needs to sit next Sunday for his stupidity. Cecil can't limit the TE or defend the screen.

It won't matter who starts at QB unless the defense starts playing better.

I was going to try to have an Amber alert put out for out DB's over the last 2 games. JUST NOT ANYWHERE NEAR THE BALL!

This team doesn't want it bad enough. Other good teams find ways to win (see the Jets). And we should be a good team, but we are falling apart.

I think there is something to this as well... The last 3 teams were all DESPARATE for wins and played like it. Maybe we will see that from the Titans going forward but I have to be realistic... We won't win many games with Rusty playing QB.
