Let's Talk about Rusty Now!

I've had enough of Vince and Fisher too. Talking about Rusty won't make me feel any better about the problems ahead, but it's a nice change of pace. So let's see, where to begin? Rusty looked just that in his first NFL action, so I'm not sure what he's capable of.

Rusty has a great attitude, he will do well.

Rusty will make his NFL debut vs. the Houston Texans. The Houston Texans who rate last in pass D.

Never completed 60% of his passes in college.


There is nothing positive to get from this unless he miraculously becomes a star.

I see nothing positive about this we are one game off the division lead with 5 games coming up against our division and we have to play with a guy who might not even be backup material?

 

I hope he plays well enough to win until Collins is back or until VY is no longer grounded...

 

Well, I hope he miraculously becomes our next Tom Brady (minus the douche-bag attitude) if Vince doesn't work out. However, I think it's pretty ridiculous how Moss didn't get ONE catch when Vince was in the game, but almost as soon as Rusty was put in, he tosses a deep ball to Moss. Afterward, Fisher placed the blame on the QBs (seemingly Vince) "not finding Moss," or something along those lines. But I don't think it's his fault so much as the plays called and the coaches calling them. So Vince doesn't throw one to Moss all game and as soon as a third-string rookie comes in the play is a deep left TD pass to Randy? Whatever. Not to discount that it wasn't a good throw, of course.

 

Neither did Brett Favre.

Just sayin'...

 

Kerry didn't connect with Moss either, so Jeff needs to shut his hole. Why would they throw his way, he's constantly covered by 2 or more men.
