I could say the same about Jeff Fisher...

But Fisher is 30-18 with VY as his starting QB not 24-24. Without VY what is Fisher's record the last 7 years?

And the stats you posted are misleading. The last 2 years VY has 20 Tds and 10 ints a 2-1 ratio.

I don't understand why everybody assumes VY or Fisher will be gone. They have plenty of time to reconcile and as men they should.

There are only a few QBs in this league with a career winning % better than 62%.

I'm wondering why it is so infrequent that we have a top 10 defense. Teams that play and win with a similar style of play that we do have a top 10 defense every year.

Just 2 times since 2000 have we been in the top 10 in total defense and only 4 times have we had what we could call a good defensive unit.

If Vince is gone, then I most certainly won't miss the drama that he brings. It overshadows his play on this team IMO.

We need leadership, not a spoiled, immature, self centered, mentally unstable QB

The way I look at it is this:

With Vince Young at quarterback, the Titans have about a 2% chance of winning the Super Bowl. I would rather take my chances with a rookie QB who might actually develop into a real franchise quarterback (something Vince will never do). Sure, the new QB might fail and it could be a few long years. At least we'd have hope.

As for Fisher, I think he can win a Super Bowl if he is given a legitimate franchise quarterback (I think most decent coaches can). Fisher may not be the best possible coach for this team, but I am willing to give him another year or two (on a very short leash) with a new quarterback. That will show us whether he is the one holding the Titans back or whether it was Vince (and the game plans they had to design around Vince).

When VY is gone, the Titans will probably have the #3 pick of the draft again.

Yea too bad we might actually get an OC and HC who advocate that Vy use his God given talents to use his legs instead of changing him into something he is not, a pocket passer. He has a natural ability to be a playmaker but the coaches are choking it off; even with the success he already has, the coaching staff already has him believeing he is a pocket passer. When VInce is gone, I will still say "lets go Titans" either way, regardless of how I feel about the personnel.

This is how I see things:

Both VY and Fisher have poisoned the locker room and have in some way, shape or form, lost us games (costly fumbles, bad play-calling, etc..)

VY is too fragile, immature, weak minded and feeble to be a top tier, NFL QB.

Fisher has shown that his methods are dated, predictable and ineffective against new and improved defenses.

This has not only been a media circus but I'm sure our locker room is about to explode with frustration. Instead of the 3 losses we've endured to less than stellar teams IN A ROW, the locker room is abuzz about who's right and who's wrong. Someone has to be held accountable for this year's downward spiral. We beat good teams and we looked great for the better half of the season. Something changed the mentality of our players for the worst and they look uninspired. Furthermore, the team just learned that our OC is fighting for his life with cancer and this STILL seems to be a prevalent argument amongst the organization. Vince can't get into BSP to work out. Vince texts Fisher, Fisher rejects apology. This isn't Dawson's Creek, this is the NFL.

Bottom line: cut them both loose, they are weighing down the boat.

Fisher has options, VY doesn't. So it's gonna be bye bye VY if he's gone
